No Carolina man’s Facebook post claims he voted 4 times ‘to save our country’ from Romney

Wow. #Obama supporter admitted he's voted 4 times already w/ 1 to go. #tcot #gop2012 #mapoli #NCpoli http://t.co/Kj2PjJPy

Outraged citizens are using Twitter to investigate a man’s Facebook claim that he’s proudly voted four times already and intends to vote again. Brad Marston captured the post in a screen shot:

Turns out the folks at TrueTheVote.org are very interested in Mr. 'Vote 5X' Turner. #tcot #gop2012 http://t.co/ZkPA9U6A
Brad Marston (@BradMarston) November 02, 2012

He voted early, and often, if his claim is to be believed. Why would someone publicly boast about committing voter fraud? (Although plenty have promised on Twitter to assassinate Mitt Romney as well.) Then again, the claim certainly seems to be made in earnest, judging by the tone. At the very least, it seems well worth looking into.

@BradMarston Isn't he admitting to committing a crime then?—
Bill Phillips (@BillPhill12) November 02, 2012

@BillPhill12 Well yes. Apparently he doesn't care or feels it's justified for the "greater good."—
Brad Marston (@BradMarston) November 02, 2012

@pjkansas He is in NC. I have emailed the picture to the town clerk in each town he says he has voted in. It's also been sent to police.—
Brad Marston (@BradMarston) November 02, 2012

@richard_mcenroe He is supposedly getting a visit from the local sheriff. Local Town clerks contacted as well.—
Brad Marston (@BradMarston) November 03, 2012

@gallicho @MelissaTweets @TheAnchoress His daughter claims it was a joke. No question he posted it. It's being investigated.—

Turner’s Facebook page is still active although the original post has been deleted — a development which Turner himself posted about yesterday:

I posted a comment to Jami’s page earlier today and it now lives in cybersomewhere. I can’t seem to get with the whole facebook thing. I made bold comment on the future of my grandchildren under a Romney presidency and now it is gone. I think my comments were deleted as part of a conspiracy inspired by some who see our national glass as half empty.

A report from the Examiner says that Turner’s wife, reached by phone, claims he did indeed post the original message but denied that he had actually voted multiple times.

So she's admitting that she married a lowlife, bottom-feeding commie liar? Nice.

As we speak a union goon and a representative from Obama 2012 are taking turns smacking him in the head with a newspaper over and over while repeating, “The first rule of voting often for Obama is you don't talk about voting often for Obama!”

What? I thought Dimocrats were allowed to vote often. How else can they get their people elected?

I'm in WI, it seems to be a tradition here, especially in Racine.

Dems don’t see anything wrong with this. Remember the communist principle: “The end justifies the means.”

“AG Holder and Mr. Chavez are in charge of multiple voting.
We believe all Democrats should be encouraged to vote up to 100 times each.”

Amusing that people use Twitter to expose someone on Facebook.

I heard that YouTube, Twitter and Facebook are going to merge. The new website will be called YouTwitFace.com

I got wind of this when a friend put up the actual post from the guy. There were a lot of comments right away.

I grabbed the screen shot and put it up here. FReeper Jeff Head was on the facebook page urging people to report this to the North Carolina Attorney General, which many of us have done. See the original here.

Another interesting thread about admitted fraud in California showed up here last night.

I’m of the opinion anyone involved in electoral fraud is committing treason and should be executed. Harsh it might sound, but if we can’t trust our democracy we don’t have a democracy.

The US is a republic. Not a democracy.

But yes, execution is appropriate for vote fraud.

Emails obtained by Examiner on Saturday indicate that Jim Turner, a retiree living in Pine Knoll Shores, North Carolina, is under investigation over allegations that he voted multiple times in multiple places. The incident caused a firestorm on the Internet as bloggers and citizen journalists covered the story, but so far the so-called “mainstream media” has been virtually silent.

According to a post at the Chatham County Online BBS, Turner was active in registering voters in September.

I’m sure he feels no shame about it too. In the liberal mind, their left wing government run nanny state utopia will be so “wonderful” that any means is justified.
