Romney should at least get 1 of the 4 electoral votes. Maine splits the votes

I’m curious as to why a San Fran newspaper is printing an article about a gain for Romney in Maine........

As Maine goes, so goes the nation (or at least Vermont).

I’m not too sure that Texas “goes” as Maine “goes”.

But, time will tell, I suppose.

Obama won by 17 points in 2008, that’s a big shift...

At the very least this locks our second district single EV in Maine.
  1. Yesterday's poll that called it 'close' in the 2nd District was a poll weighted by State-Wide Registration Rolls, rather than 2nd district weighted rolls - probably worth 2 or 3 points.
  2. The numbers from the article above now put it over the top (qualitatively if not quantitatively.)
I hereby formally announce our donation of more than zero EV's to the cause ... and yes, I did think about the phrasing of that which we will donate :-)
