Obama wants 'revenge' and Biden's not a proud VP: Gaffes under pressure

Obama Revenge November 3, 2012 By: Roz Zurko

Obama vs. Romney is down to the wire and the pressure might be causing the odd gaffes coming from the President and the Vice President in the last few days. President Obama is asking the voters to go for “revenge” and Biden’s never been proud to be Obama’s Vice President, according to the Mail Online Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012.

"Revenge” was not the best choice of a word to use for a political election. Voting is not about getting revenge; it is about people being heard. According to CNN, Romney used this gaffe to his advantage and said to his campaign audience in West Chester, Ohio:

"Our big dreams will not be satisfied by his small agenda that already failed us. Today, did you see what President Obama said today? He asked his supporters to vote for revenge – for revenge. Instead I ask the American people to vote for love of country."

At this point it’s not revenge.

It’s WAR.

I didn’t know “revenge” was on the ballot...

This was an Obama slip-up...the word just popped out naturally. He heard booing (booing Mitt, of course) and said, no, no, don’t boo, VOTE...voting is the best revenge.

The way Mitt put it, sounds like people are being asked to vote FOR revenge, when actually, Obama let the word slip out when trying to rally his vote against the supposedly horrible Mitt.

The O campaign yelled and screamed at how Romney was using the word, but I have no sympathy for them.

O rallies his troops by massive, ugly lies and inflammatory/derisive rhetoric about Mitt, then when his zombies boo Mitt, he says, no, no, I only want you to vote, not boo.

What does he expect them to do, zombies that they are, if not boo the “horrible” Romney.

But then O slips and lets lose the wrong word for public consumption...revenge...then protests its useage.

In all of this, ALL of them are revealing exactly who they are and it isn’t pretty.

Obama, The Great Uniter...or The Great Divider?

No one will argue the fact that we haven’t seen such a divided Congress as we have now since the Civil Rights movement of 50+ years ago. Obama campaigned on the promise to bring the two Parties together to achieve the Economic Recovery Main Street so desperately needed. It is certainly obvious this has not happened. He started out his Presidency by blaming his predecessor and his Party for every ill facing America in January of 2009. He conveniently forgot to mention that the Democrats were the controlling Party in Congress in 2007 and 2008 or that they had failed to bring a National Budget during that time. He wasted two years focusing his attention on bailing out Wall Street and his dismal Healthcare Plan that has been shown to actually raise taxes on the Middle-class, something else he promised not to do. Is it any wonder then that this Nation is further apart politically than it was when he took office?

Why is it always called a “gaffe” when people catch the Democrats speaking the truth?
