Oh no! If the AP says that Obama leads in all of the swing states, I guess I might as well not even vote! Oh, wait a minute, I’m a conservative who can think for himself and can smell the putrid stench of liberal propaganda from a mile away!

This is Yahoo News, the MSNBC of the print world. If the best they can muster is a weak headline like this, it’s not looking good for OTrauma.

I’m smelling a landslide here.

Please, this landslide expectation seems irrational ..., can we just have a victory ?

this will help Romney as it will motivate people who don’t want another four years of obama’s failed policies to get out and vote him out...

My 92 yr old neighbor's daughter told me that her dad asked her to take him to "vote the traitor out" the other day. His last vote was for GHW Bush against the rapist.

Mike Tobin and Phil Keating have been telling the Friends all morning that early voting in both Ohio and Florida shows Barry ahead. I’m confused.

But the margin is well below '08.

Three major things wrong with the report...

First, it assumes that, those democrat voters, voted for Obama.

Second, it assumes that, the percentages will remain the same on election day, and in the totals after the votes are counted after Tuesday. The only turnout that counts, is the totals after the whole election season is over.

Third thing that is wrong, and this is the biggest: the independent voters aren’t being counted, and one can assume that there have been independent voters who also voted early. That is where the major difference will be found: what percentage of those independents voted for Obama, and what percentage voted for Romney. All indications are that, independents have been moving towards Romney this year, and Obama has lost many of those independents who voted for him in 2008.

What Yahoo and the democrats are doing, is hanging on to whatever might seem like good news at this stage of the election, even insignificant news.

The point that is being missed is that registered Republicans (i.e., the Peggy Noonan crowd) will not be voting for Obama at anywhere near the rate of 2008. The other point, made by several Freepers, is that a larger percentage of Democrats will not be voting for Obama. Thus, the early voting by party registration is meaningless, until they count the votes.

Party affiliation doesn’t mean democrats will vote for Obama, many of them have lost everything under his rule.

While polls show that 93% of republicans intend to vote for Romney....

I find it hard to believe that 7% of Republicans will be voting for O? Third parts vote? Except for Collen Powell have not heard of any R that will be voting for O.

Thanks! I love poking at them but, unlike them, I try to keep it civil. It’s difficult.

These could be stealth Democrates registered as Republicans to distort primaries.

at 9am on election day, the runner goes from the polling site to DEM hdqtrs with the names of those who’ve voted. So that early day info is public. So is the early days voting.

When I vote at 9am, I was always allowed to ask for the COUNT and the moderator would give me the total count on the machines. On the new machines, I don’t have to ask. I can look at the count myself.
