Four years after Obama’s election, a tale of two journeys that began full of hope
Washington Post ^ | November 3, 2012 | Eli Saslow and Stephanie McCrummen

......One afternoon last week, Coleman sat in a room she was renting for $230 a month in the suburbs of Columbia, Mo., with her new boyfriend. The old one hadn’t worked out, like so many things hadn’t worked out. She turned on her computer and opened a file of her photos from four years ago. Her boyfriend, Angad Mathur, had never seen them, and he sat down on the bed beside her. Together they began a 100-picture slide show of what she called “one of the most poignant, overwhelming nights of my life.”

A photo of a crowded Grant Park backlit by the Chicago skyline. Of a middle-aged man draped in the American flag. Of people jumping, laughing, rolling in the grass.

“Wow,” Mathur said.

“I was crying by this point,” Coleman said. “Everybody was crying by this point.”

“It seems like so long ago,” he said.

“The country’s different,” she said. “Everything’s different.”

She was different. For the election in 2012, Coleman had foresworn emotion in favor of a more practical approach. While her commemorative newspapers from Grant Park yellowed in the closet, she printed out transcripts of each presidential debate and considered how the policies of Mitt Romney and Obama would affect the realities of her life. There was Obama’s health-care plan, which meant she could stay under her parents’ insurance. There were the incessant budget cuts, which had shuttered the state hospital where her father once worked. There was the listless economy, which had forced her back into graduate school at 24, where she had once again requested another deferment on her $30,000 in student loans........

I would imagine that around six million Americans were overcome in 2008, and voted in a certain direction. Those six million have recovered from the “party”....question how they were faked-out....and will likely vote for Mitt in Tuesday’s election. A change of six million voters nation-wide....gives Mitt the national-win, with the Electoral College the only question mark left in this odd election.

To me, this is an expected, yet highly disappointing account of two very different people caught up in the fraud that is Obama. One black who seems to have found a job she likes now (wasn’t unemployed before and from how she traveled around for a year and went back home to get a place with vaulted ceilings, sounds like she was doing okay).

For her, it boils down to race, still - ever controlling, ever biasing.

The other, a complete twit who is white. Worthless college degree (photography), no job, large student loan debt.

Best job she could find was scooping up dog poop for $10/hour. What did she do? She’s back in grad school, $4500 debt for a new camera, and $10,000 more in student loans....

One complains that race relations have gotten worse (duh!) and the other is about as smart as a rock. Wouldn’t surprise me both are cashing in somehow on one of the 80+ government welfare-like giveaway programs.

Both will probably end up voting for Obama - article never said (making it a waste of time to read).

Chinyere STILL thinks white people are the racists.

She voted for a FRESHMAN Senator from the most corrupt political system in the country, a man with no accomplishments outside of writing two self-exalting autobiographies, a man with no message other than ‘hope & change’ or ‘Yes we can!’ (and perhaps the underlying message of ‘vote for the first black President’). 95% of black people voted Obama. Whites split evenly on Obama (i.e. there are stupid white people also).

But whites are the bigots.

Notice that she is also ‘afraid’ of anti-Obama violence by whites? Can ANYONE name an example of such violence? Anywhere? I can find perhaps a hundred examples of some black flash mob beating the h3ll out of a white bystander over the past four years - celebrating their ethnic heritage or whatever excuse they use. But one example of a white anti-Obama crowd beating up an innocent black? ANYONE?

So I guess this post proves to her that I’m a bigot. Probably prone to outbreaks of irrational violence too! But the God she claims to worship would see it differently, (although it seems the black church is black first, Christian second, if at all).

Both of these toadies are going to vote for Bareback Bronco Bamma. Count on it.

The twit with the camera degree deserves whatever she gets. What a foolish choice in education investment - photography? That’s like getting a degree in modern dance or Spanish.

“Maybe they saw something in me,” she thought, and that glimmer of hope — that momentary boost to her confidence — encouraged her to take out another $10,000 in loans and enroll.

I love it. Yeah, they saw something in you, honey. Another sucker to help fill their coffers.

Yeah, and did you notice how the Compost described the story of the woman supposedly set on fire for wearing an Obama t-shirt?

They call it a "tragic hoax".

"Tragic"? How about "OUTRAGEOUS"!

First, foremost and always, leftist grievance groups are socialists. "Minorities" and many bombarded with hatred and anti-American dogma, are seeing the light and pushing back.

Bishop Jackson: Black churchgoers shaken by Obama backing gay marriage "......“Ministers are being questioned by their members: How can we vote for President Obama?” Jackson said. “I’ve even had some ministers who are on the left frankly, politically saying, We gotta figure out how we quiet everybody. We gotta figure out how we get everybody back in the camp, because they sense that people are awakening and saying, now wait a minute: If I have to choose between Jesus and the Democrat Party, Jesus and Barack Obama, then Jesus is going to be my choice.”....

GOP seeks favor with South Texas Hispanics ".....when folks like J.M. switch, people look at it and say, 'I guess it's not so bad.'" ...."We (Republicans) support oil and gas jobs, we are strongly faith-based based," Lozano said. "When you break it down by party lines, the Republican Party is the one that shares Hispanic values."....

"That’s like getting a degree in modern dance or Spanish."

Actually, with the influx of criminal invaders from the south, and because of the libweenies who want to give them the whole country, a degree in Spanish might just turn out to be useful...

I secured two of them in my family, my brother, who assuaged his white guilt and my 26 year old daughter, she entered the real world from college since last election.

>>Your right about the movie I felt I was watching Leni Riefenstahl’s Triumph of the Will<<

You must not have watched it till the end if that’s what you saw.

The movie is DEVASTATING TO OBAMA. They all turn on him in the end.

Watch it to the end, not a few seconds then click off of it.
