Barack Obama and the paradox behind his African American support base
Guardian ^ | 3 Nov 12 | Gary Younge

When Barack Obama was contemplating a run for the White House his wife, Michelle, asked him what he thought he could accomplish if he won. "The day I take the oath of office," he replied. "The world will look at us differently. And millions of kids across this country will look at themselves differently. That alone is something."

Four months after he was sworn in, at least one kid saw himself differently. It was May 2009 and 5-year-old Jacob Philadelphia had gone with his dad, a black ex-marine, to the Oval Office for a family photograph with the president.

With him were his mum, Roseanne, and his older brother, Isaac, 8. The boys were allowed to ask Obama one question each. The parents had no idea what they were going to say. Isaac asked why the president had got rid of the F-22 jet fighter. The president said because it cost too much. Jacob asked:

"I want to know if my hair is just like yours."

He was so quiet, Obama asked him to repeat the question. Jacob obliged.

Obama said: "Why don't you touch it and see for yourself?"

He bent down lowered his head so that it was within Jacob's reach.

Jacob paused. The president prompted. "Touch it, dude!" he said

The boy actually asked if Bronco Bamma’s head was hollow. Bronco bowed to the boy and said “Why don't you knock on it and see for yourself.”

Maybe he thought the kid was a rich Saudi Muslim king who bankrolled his admission to Harvard with a $20,000,000 bribe?

Oh no, wait, that was this guy.

I’m waiting for the scream of “Racism” the day after Obamao loses the election.

THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER IS he would not have been elected pRESIDENT in the first place if he and the RAT party hadn’t bamboozled a hell of a lot of Caucasians to vote for his sorry, unqualified, lying, Marxist, bi-sexual, ass.

P.S. I am neither of the forementioned races.

Is there even one black American who lives by Martin Luther King’s words?

I’m welling up with tears as I fondly remember the day I met Richard Nixon and said, “I want to know if my hair is just like yours”, and he said “touch it dude”.

This completely sums up the current black mentality. His skin is like mine, his hair is like mine, he is me. Therefore he can do no wrong.

Obviously there are many, since there are many black conservatives.

There just aren't enough.

The OJ "not-guilty" scandal should have served as due notice that a huge population slice of the American black community has allowed their own racism to blind them to the notion of truth and justice. Both of these lofty concepts cannot be twisted, because they are from God. We are all sinners. The problem here is the cultural and political system of 21st American has lied to American blacks and told them that God's rules do not apply to them because of "discrimination."

I asked an African-American Christian about this at a Bible study years ago. His answer was profound. To paraphrase, he said: "If you don't have God, you don't have any foundation. It doesn't matter what race you are, but you have understand - to them, if you reject someone who looks like them, they believe you are rejecting them."

You cannot Affirmative-Action your way into God's heart. He sees all, He knows all. If any person or group is selling snake oil, it is snake oil. Either truth is truth, or it is worthless.

Obama is a disgusting human being. Those who refuse to see refuse to reject evil itself.

So few black Americans place their country’s best interest over the interest of their race.

They are not comfortable with MLK message because he expected them to be rational and to have a heart and soul.

Spend time in a Black Community in the city. They are vicious to each other and so fake. They gossip and back stab each other. They call each other names like “stupid”. They mock the ones who can’t read. Everything is about color- and they are more comfortable with liberal “whites” who directly talk about a person’s skin color, than with a Conservative who doesn’t see color. They are indoctrinated, they have no right to an opinion of their own.

They try to dominate each other by showing off, they refuse to help or encourage one another. They are climbing over themselves to get to the top of some garbage heap. There is little love in the black community that I ever saw.

And that was at a Baptist church.

It is heartbreaking that they won’t even help each other find peace in the world.

The real problem is that their choices aren't in their best interest.

There was an excellent example of the contrast between strutting for attention and being a team winner, just yesterday.

In the Alabama v LSU game, black players from LSU would jump up and strut when they made a good individual play such as catching a pass for first down. This was not happening with the black Alabama players. They celebrated as a team when they scored. Men like Fluker, who work their butts off in the line play were teamed with white players also working their butts off for the team effort. In the end the strutters lost the game because of better team play by Alabama when the crunch time arrived.

Had little barry bastard boy been even a mild 'team player', Americans would be in the midst of an employemnt recovery, and our national image would be soaring among the other nations of the globe. But alas, little barry is a lying fraud, an exploiter of black people, and a commie America hater at his core. So what is it that black people and white liberals voting for him like drones on command are emulating? Chaos, that's what!

When the Alabama quarterback was interviewed after the game, he cited what a great team he was a member of, not what a great effort he managed to put forth in the final one minute drive! He is a team player.

The entire Alabama cast, from coaches to practice field players, to starters is a team of fellow workers for success. That TEAM overcame two disastrous individual mistake turnovers, by, as a team, creating at least two turnovers on downs, in contrast to turnovers due to individual mistakes. We The People are either a team on this planet, or we are ripe for destruction as chaotic struttin' individuals.

Yeah, it was justa football game. But I wonder if the lesson was even recognized by the struttin' jive boys at LSU or their shocked fans? And what of the black people watching that game on TV? Did any of them see the lesson as it unfolded? They certainly are not encouraged or educated to see such a simple lesson, but it would be so useful if they could see it for what it is.
