Its not the same Department...but clayton co did hire two of the apd officers fired for that raid. Clayton co has by far the worst le in the metro area and is loaded with crooks and thugs.

Long ago, cops were mostly good guys. Then police unions got involved.
The vast majority of LE departments here are good and decent. The metro counties where I and my family come from...Cobb and Douglas...are run by good, honorable men. My cousins husband is a 16 year APD vet, and one of the most morally upstanding men I know.
But there are exceptions, and Clayton co. is one of them. Dekalb county gets an honorable mention. Both of those are more urban counties.
Bad cops in the rural counties know that messing with the wrong folks can have the thug having his bones fed to the hogs. They leave no scraps. Urban folks usually don’t or won’t stand up for themselves.
