Can Democrat-leaning Voting Machines Win Election for Obama?

Imagine you go to the polls and choose Mitt Romney on an electronic machine, but your vote comes up Barack Obama. So you re-enter your choice, but the president's name still stubbornly appears. Then a third try. Ditto.

Innocent malfunction...or something else?

Whatever the case, this has already happened to voters in states such as Nevada, Ohio, Kansas, North Carolina, Missouri, and Colorado -- four of which are swing states.

This hasn't escaped the notice of the Republican National Committee, which has just sent a letter outlining its concerns to the secretaries of state of the aforementioned. The RNC's chief counsel, John Phillipe, wrote that he understands how "the causes of this problem are varied, and include miscalibration and hyper-sensitivity of the machines," verbiage diplomatic enough to avoid being branded a (paranoid) life form from another "inhabited planet," as a complaint-barraged and incredulous North Carolina elections official put it. As for where this puts me, I guess I'm suspicious enough to be targeted by the Men in Black.

I'll make my case. First, all these stories about uncooperative machines involve votes switched in only one direction: Barack Obama's. Would this be possible if at issue were merely innocent errors?

If it isn't true that these malfunctions are curiously monolithic in favor of the president, then where are the news stories to that effect? After all, if Obama votes were switched to Romney ones anywhere, the reliably liberal mainstream media would certainly make it front-page news. But have you gotten wind of such happenings? If so, I'd like to hear about it -- honestly. It would be mind-easing.

Next, we've all used ATMs, and most everyone (except my quasi-Luddite self) has something such as an iPod.

That all depends on how willing people are to accept a wrong vote from the machine.

I like my paper ballot ans single day voting just fine thank you.

Second question: Are the ballots counted manually at some point for verification purposes?

Third: If on jan 19th it’s found out that the other guy really won, what happens then?

In 25,000 word or less.

Yes the democrats can steal the election.

Everyone remembers this part of quote attributed to Stalin:

The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.
The modern Stalinist democrats remember the entire quote:
It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.

I have wondered, on these machines if the names were reversed would the problem reverse?

If the process by which we the people select our leaders is corrupt, then we the people are not bound by the results of that process.

There is even more insidious possibility. Even if the screen shows you are voting for Romney, inside the black box the vote is added to Obama. You can’t see it because it is not displayed on any screen.

That is why I am in favor of a paper record printed of each vote. The machine dispenses the printed paper to you, you look at it and then deposit it into a ballot box. Note that it is a computer generated paper ballot, and it will have none of the problems associated with hand marked ballots, in counting the votes through a scanner.

Now a permanent paper record exists for later verification in case problems or questions arise.

Seems like this “miscalbration” is always in favor of the Dems. I’m “sure” it’s just a coincidence.

Brings to mind the reason for georgie soros’ “Secretary of State” project to control the state officials who control the voting.

Third: If on jan 19th it’s found out that the other guy really won, what happens then?

Too late.

The electors will meet to cast their votes in the respective state capitols on the first Monday after the second Wednesday in December (12/17, in this case). The state's count must be complete and certified by that date.

The newly-elected House and Senate will then meet in joint session to count and certify the electoral votes on January 6. Whereupon, the next President is officially elected.

But, as noted, the states must have finished their count by December 17. It is this deadline that was instrumental in SCOTUS instructing the Supreme Court of Florida to knock it off with all the recounts and get down to business in 2000.

Tip of the iceberg. Tuesdays will see unprecedented levels of voter fraud. All the bogus registrations sitting on voters lists in swing states, thanks to Acorn and other groups will be used this time. They were on the rolls in 2008 and were not used.

Forget the polls, they mean nothing at this point. It will take a huge effort to defeat this POS and remove him from office. In an honest election, Romney has this won by at least 4 points or more... Throw in the millions of bogus registrations waiting to be used, this kind of nonsense with the voting machines, dragging mentally handicapped people out of institution to vote, and everything else... it will be a real challenge for Romney to win.

Question: So, when a person selects Romney once, twice, three times and all show up for Obama, THEN finally it shows up Romney as desired. OK, that looks like it could be 3 votes for Obama and 1 for Romney.

Would that be possible?

Hmmm. maybe all those Pollsters know something we don’t or didn’t until now. Maybe that is how they can keep insisting that Zero is leading.

It's more of the same gimmickry you have had since the dawn of time.

What is always needed is the good guys getting enough votes to overwhelm that. I believe you will get that in most states on Tuesday.

Yes, that is entirely possible because the voter has no clue what the black box recorded. Even if the screen says vote for Romney, the computer can add it to Obama by invisible electronics magic.

When punching the button for Romney and getting Obama it is meant to happen.

I have 40 years in Aerospace Computer Experience, There is no such thing as a “Computer Glitch”, I repeat there is no such thing as a “Computer Glitch” If it is accidental, it is a Programming error.

If an event i.e. (If Romney-vote goto Obama-vote or If Obama-vote goto Obama-vote) if this is programed it will happen, other wise it does not happen. So the Obama people or surrogates want this to happen.
