President Barack Obama appeared in Lake County for the first time Saturday as president and candidate for last-minute campaign stop at Mentor High School.
Obama spoke for about 28 minutes before an estimated crowd of 4,010 in the school’s gymnasium and a nearby overflow room.
Obama asked for help getting people to vote early and on Tuesday and for supporters to knock on doors and make phone calls asking for his support.
“I hope you’re ready Ohio, he said. “I hope you still have fight left in you.” ...........

Mentor, Ohio is not exactly friendly territory for The One. Lake County is quite Red overall. Someone screwed up.
They made the same mistake earlier this week on Colorado Springs until Sandy gave O an out.
This is poor planning and poor use of time by his campaign. And when you’re short on time, it can’t be made up.
But a campaign is ultimately about the candidate and not his staff.

Just saw Obama live on Fox at a rally in Iowa. He’s supposed to be in Virginia right now. Apparently the Virginia rally at Jiffy Lube Live was a bust.
Jiffy Lube Live seats 25,000. This thing in Iowa looked to have a few hundred. It was hard to tell for sure, they were just doing closeup shots.
