Forecasters concerned about nor'easter next week

The National Weather Service is becoming increasingly concerned that a “tortuously slow” nor’easter could bring high winds, coastal flooding, heavy rains and inland snow to New Jersey by mid-week, which could seriously disrupt recovery efforts in the storm-battered Garden State.

The storm isn’t expected to be anywhere near the intensity of Hurricane Sandy, but could pose a larger threat because New Jersey has been left extremely vulnerable due to the damage suffered during the storm.

Winds could reach 50 miles per hour during this storm, the weather service said, stalling efforts to restore power and causing additional outages. Buildings compromised by Sandy could be further damaged or destroyed by additional coastal flooding, particularly since many protective dunes have been washed away or significantly eroded. And any inland snow could disrupt recovery efforts in the northern and western parts of the state.

I thought they had weather in the northeast before “global warming” hit. Maybe I was wrong. They’re going to love it. Sunny and 68 degrees all of the time really gets boring.

I thought the election of His Excellency was going to lower the seas, improve the planet, and reduce global warming? Maybe his majesty was just stringing along everyone on that one as he has everyone else with his promises to have a bipartisan administration?

Barry won't be too busy after Tuesday evening, perhaps he can take another helicopter ride with Christie.

The view from Obama's NJ helicopter flyover.

Uh oh...middle of next week puts it AFTER the election.

Regardless of whether Obama wins or not...New Jersey will be on it’s own.

Photo ops with the Chubster will be irrelevant at that point.

A strong word of advice for those still in the NYC and New Jersey areas seriously affected by Sandy who had not prepared well in advance and who are unprepared for what you are experiencing and who are unprepared for what is coming:

If this forecasted weather event is strongly expected to happen, you have been warned! Things and "stuff" can be replaced, your life and the lives of your family and friends cannot. Do whatever you have to in order to get out of the area NOW while you still have the ability to do so! Take the bare essentials you need for the trip, for survival and for personal protection and leave! Go stay with friends and family who are located out of state and out of the area. Don't try and "tough it out", don't try and "hang in there". Use any means at your disposal to get out of the area ASAP because the government cannot and will not save you. So do not expect them to because they can't, and in Mayor Bloomberg's case, he won't because he stubbornly refuses to call in the ARMED National Guard to protect you, to keep the peace and to maintain order. Gather your family and friends and get the heck out of where you are before it gets really bad.

Things are dreadfully serious now but if this bad, wet, cold, windy weather takes place on top of what you are already experiencing it will only compound an already dire situation, totally overwhelm the services which are already stretched to the limit and you will be left on your own to survive against the elements, savages and wildlings who are taking over.

The “Chubster” doesn’t really present the whole picture.

How about the “Morbidly Obester”?

Hey Guys and Ladies.... I found a great website for weather forecasting. It’s run by middle school and high school students out of Baltimore County, Maryland. They haven’t gotten a storm prediction wrong in five years! www.footsforecast.com or google it wih same name (it’s on Facebook too.)

Those damn bureaucratic deadbeat idiots had better get their acts together quickly to help those people in the Northeast.
It ain't going to be pretty when this thing hits.
