Perrysburg OH police arrested four Toledo area men early Friday morning on charges of stealing Mitt Romney campaign signs in Wood and Lucas counties in Northwest Ohio.
The signs were found in a pickup truck owned by Sheet Metal Workers International, Union Local 33 in Parma, according to the police report.
Many of the signs -- some measuring as large as 4 feet by 8 feet -- were believed to have been put up by members of Northwest Ohio Conservative Coalition, said John McAvoy, the group's president.

Prison. 5 years minimum.
Well, they were arrested... I think that is progress from what has happened before.
They’ll be released and ‘acquitted’ within several hours if not days.
Zero will pardon them
They’ll be pardoned by Obama on his way out of office.
Hopefully, they won't be released until after the election. In fact, they ought to be waterboarded and any accomplices named should be arrested and held as well.
Being union officers, they each are probably worth 3-5 votes anyway.
Union members are not just goons . . . They are stupid goons.
“Being union officers, they each are probably worth 3-5 votes anyway.”
More than that, hence why they will maybe be out sooner.
Bama needs those votes you know.
According to the article the thugs/perps are “Corey Beaubian, 37, Sean Bresler, 33; and John Russell, 39, all of Toledo; and Christopher Monaghan, 41, of Rossford”
Beaubian’s phone number and address (even a map to his home) are all available on 411.info. I’d imagine that the others would be just as easy to determine. Does anyone know whether it would violate FR policy to post them?
In the spirit (reverse-sense anyways) of Bill Mahr’s comments from yesterday, of course ...
Here in Alaska I have not seen ANY elect Obama signs, and just a couple of elect Romney bumper stickers, I swear the state is standing in the middle of the road and will get sideswiped by both sides of the political traffic.
Seriously nobody is talking about either candidate, if anything they do talk more about Obama but not in a positive manner. And I just don’t get any vibes of any hidden love for Romney, sorry to burst some peoples bubble but that is the way it is, but who cares? Alaska doesn’t mean squat to the election, just not enough numbers.
Biden came to our county, why I do not know as this is one of the most republican counties in FL , but that night as he left Romney signs started to disappear and have bene for some time.
One guy had this sign taken 3 times so he got ladders, went up in the tree near the gate and put the signs up there and they have stayed there.
Course I;ve seen 3 obama yard sign in this county, one at the entrance of a meth trailer park, another at a run down shack and the third in my neighborhood from a family who moved here 3 months ago from NY, daughters on free lunch and breakfast, parents never work, live like pigs and are renting what used to look like a decent but small house
Romney needs every EV he can get. Sounds like Romney will get Alaska’s by default. :p
Come here boys and trespass onto my property. And if this hint doesn’t help you, nothing will.... it’s loaded.
I remember when I was a young boy, some nosy neighbor went on to my dad’s patio to check if his permits where in order taped on the front window. My dad saw a flashlight beaming into the house in the middle of the night. He rushed right out with his trusty rifle. Aimed down of course. Let’s just say that guy never disrespected my family ever again.
In CA, Liberalville USA, there are few Obama signs and Bumper Stickers. The difference between today and 2008 is stark. We even have some Liberal Tax and Spend Propositions that might be Voted down, or so I hope.
Not that I see that many Romney Stickers, but I think people just don't want to make their Cars a target to be damaged by a compassionate Obama lover who Votes for Revenge.
Tuesday will either validate my statement or will prove that Bob Schrum finally got one right.
Read the Perrysburg Police Department report here:
Yes Alaska is a slam dunk for Romney, its a shame the state doesn’t have more decisive electoral votes though, but then again we also don’t have the incessant campaign bombardment here as well, I have not seen any of either side on TV or over the radio.
But then I also pretty much ignore the polls and don’t watch any of the MSM.
But our local veterans are in support of Romney in as such as I have heard, Alaska has a lot of veterans.
FREE FOOD AND MEDICAL CARE!!! NO WAY!!!
Give them 5 years of community service. As Democrats they’re suppose to love that sort of thing. I suspect at the end of their sentence they’ll become Republicans.
You have hit that right on the head, I fault Obama for whipping his mob into a blood frenzy. Not an hour goes by that Obama isn’t urging his mob into bloodlust, especially calling for “revenge voting”.
we could use a lot more Alaska’s then :p
If you think he’s doing that now, just wait until a few days from now.
If you think he’s doing that now, just wait until a few days from now.
BTW - Has Obama used the word “revenge” when speaking of the “folks” that Murdered our people in Libya, or is that word just used to attack Republicans?
Obama is lower than a snakes belly.
What would you predict next? I would say Obama feels that he is making his last stand at Alamo figuratively though I loathe to use any comparison to real heroes in his case.
His revenge comments will only spark some serious conflicts, already we are seeing his zombies trying to vote twice like that woman in LV.
About the only viable alternative is for Obama to spend his way into getting votes, like the free gasoline, except he will do it on a grander scale, possibly ONLY in the swing states, some form of free giveaways for votes.
Well, if he hasn’t already got the free giveaways in the works, it might be too late to implement it now. I hope so, certainly. Compared to the Romney campaign, this Obama campaign is slow-footed, ill-prepared and disorganized. I hope that continues, and they become increasingly dispirited.
I think the calls to his zombies to create trouble are going to get more pointed, although never actionable. His problem with that will be that a lot of his ardent supporters now are delusional old and middle-aged white women and men who can’t do anything but shout their anger. They certainly aren’t going to scare anybody.
I live in North East Ohio and have been counting signs for Obama Vs Romney.
I live about 18 miles from work, and take a few different routes to and from... counting signs each time.
I know its just anecdotal, but the latest count was 15 Romney, 4 Obama.
What struck me a couple of days ago was the number of Sherrod Brown Signs that did not have an Obama counterpart sign.
I decided to count them durring yesterdays trip.
There were a total of 8 Sherrod Brown signs, and only 1 of them had an Obama sign on the same property.
There were 16 Josh Mandel signs, and only 1 of them DID NOT proudly display a Romney / Ryan sign.
I think this indicates that there a many Democrats who may not pull the lever for B.O.
Don't know if this is bad for Josh Mandel - I hope not.
I think Romey/Ryan and Josh Mandel will come out on top on Tuesday.
I have a feeling they have some sort of last ditch surprise in the works, something to get gullible weak minded voters hyped up about, has to be something that will either get them something free or give them an exemption status to some taxation.
he will find their buttons, he has been trained by the best all his life to find other peoples buttons to be pushed.
He probably won’t go Chavez at the last moments hopefully.
All he really has is the white mans guild and the race card.
You know, on second thought let’s cut these fellows some slack. They were probably taking the signs so they could be sent East for New Yorkers and New Jerseyians to burn in order to boil water and stay warm.
What a punk.
“Theyll be pardoned by Obama on his way out of office.”
Buckwheat won’t care and won’t pardon them. They served their purpose and can no longer promote Me! Me! Me!
The “Under the Bus” president.
