Go Mitt go!!
Thanks for covering this.
We thought about going up but we just have too much to do.
However, we will be VOTING this afternoon.
Iowa FReepers: TODAY is the last day for in-person early voting. Mitt has been asking us to vote early via his radio campaign ads.
Who’s talking there now?
I’m not getting anything but crowd shots inside a hangar. Oh, here comes the plane.
AWESOME to see that plane come in with BELIEVE IN ROMNEY!!!!!
Mitt had arrived.
Sign says ‘REAL CHANGE ON DAY ONE’
Romney looks relaxed and confident. His internal polls must be really good.
Yes, that was an awe-inspiring sight, wasn’t it.
Crowd chanting ‘Three more days, three more days...’
The communist will also be in Dubuque later. Be interesting to see how the crowds compare, or at least how the media spins it.
I can’t believe I am saying this, because I was a proud member of the anyone-but-Romney camp, but ... he has more than a little Reagan in him.
Speaking very relaxed and positive today!!!
There’s just something so fundamentally good and trustworthy about this man. America is getting a look at that, and contrasting it with the First Marxist.
Going to bring that pipeline in from Canada!!
“Time to put our students first, and our parents first and our teachers first...AND THE UNION BEHIND THEM”
“Time to put our students first, and our parents first and our teachers first...AND THE UNION BEHIND”
3 MORE DAYS—3 MORE DAYS—3 MORE DAYS
He really is sharp now. I remember just a few months ago with stiff, repetitive, strained speeches. Now Mitt is relaxed, confident, in good humor - every inch a president. Lord please restore your blessing to our nation and let this man take on the mantle of leadership.
He is really a gifted speaker and a talented storyteller.
Got and old Air Force buddy from Offutt there. I’m sure he’s at the event.
I agree, and I join you in that prayer.
Next Stop: Colorado Springs, Colorado
How many people are there? DU is saying it isn’t well attended! Thanks so much for posting freepers that are there!
dammit, can’t get on the live stream
Thanks for posting! Well attended rally and a very enthusiastic crowd. And a very dramatic arrival of Mitt’s plane. Go Mitt Go!
Lord please restore your blessing to our nation and let this man take on the mantle of leadership.
*******
Very well said. Amen.
Plane’s logo is “Believe in America” across the top, “MittRomey.com” on the bottom. Awesome. Obama’s would be Believe in Me.

When I saw that new ad they put out today I could have sworn that his voice was carrying the same pitch and It as Reagan’s.
A fitting theme for the last two days of this campaign!
The Founders of America, impassioned believers in Creator-endowed life, liberty, rights, laws to protect them, and freedom of individual enterprise and opportunity certainly would echo Mitt Romney's statement today!
After centuries of Government-over-People arrangements, whether by one, a few, or many, our Founders saw liberty as a Creator-endowed blessing (see Preamble to Constitution), and that Constitution which formed our Republic changed that arrangement to a Creator - People - Governmeent form of self-government which protected those "blessings" of liberty.
Revenge is not an emotion which is conducive to good government or successful individual lives.
Hopefully, on Tuesday, American citizens, motivated by an internal longing for more liberty and less government will have made their appeal to Divine Providence, as did the Founders, and exercise their sacred right to vote for a leader who appeals, not to their baser emotions, but to their God-given longings and desires.
Perhaps we might be inspired by listening to a tremendous modern hymn entitled, "Heal Our Land," by Orrin Hatch,, as performed by Winton Phipps.

Me too.......Lord have mercy on America...
No live stream working, here =(
My son was there with friends. They tweeted that the hangar was "absolutely packed for Mitt." On the local live streaming via KCRG.com you could see people spilling out of the hangar opening. The kids are excited because they got to shake soon-to-be-President Romney's hand!!
When I last caught one of the speeches live, (last night?) I prayed for the safety, health and strength of the entire R&R team, from the security around them, to them and their families. There are deranged Moonbats out there, and it only takes one of them to act in an evil manner. The Romney-Ryan people need us to pray for protection from evil.
Please everyone, say a prayer of protection around these men, and their families. Let’s cover them in prayer that the Lord will shield them from the wiles of the devil and his demons on earth.
“Lord, surround these good men and all around them with your shield of armor. Thank you for the security detail that guards them like a shepherd guards his flock.
Have mercy on our sinful nation, and bless us with these men as leaders that we might go forward as a righteous nation deserving of Your blessings, and that we might glorify Your Holy name by restoring our positive national influence on the world again and our government will again join us in supporting Israel. Bless us with righteous leaders so we may serve You better. Amen.”
I first noticed it in one of the debates. I was working, and so I was listening, but not watching. At one point I honestly thought I was listening to Reagan, only to suddenly realize that it was actually Romney. Four years ago I was vehemently anti-Obama, mildly anti-McCain, and enthusiastically pro-Palin. Now, I am very confident in Mitt. Hard to believe, but we actually have a really good presidential candidate, for the first time in 24 years.
How big is the crowd?
Amen. Couldn't agree more. Would like to invite you and everyone else to join us in prayer for this election and for Mitt Romney, his family, and his team at Prayer thread for the last four days of this election
Well, yes, the reason several of us were strongly pro-Romney during the primary season was that we knew he wanted the job, would fight for it, and not roll over for Obama or the MSM. Mitt also had assembled the national finance organization necessary to go the distance.
Defeating ANY incumbent president is serious, difficult, and expensive business, let alone a president worshipped by the MSM.
In the last 100+ years, we’ve only rejected 5 presidents seeking a second term: Taft; Hoover; Ford (who was never elected); Carter; and Bush 41.
Good catch, and very true. A poignant reminder of the difference between these two men and those surrounding them.
“I cant believe I am saying this, because I was a proud member of the anyone-but-Romney camp, but ... he has more than a little Reagan in him.”
Me too. I supported Perry in the primaries. I thought I was the only one noticing this about Romney but I’ve read a lot of other comments like yours - he IS surprisingly Reagan-like.
Romney is polished and well spoken. The contrast between him and Obama couldn’t be any more defined.
Well just between the two of us, Obama’s plane has been painted with a special IR pigment only visible with IR night vision goggles. With those one would be able to read “Air Force None” on the belly of the plane in giant letters.
;>)
The amount of logistics devoted to bringing The One to a Democrat lock like Dubuque - which voted for Stephen Douglas in 1860, BTW - is considerable. Good thing for him that he gets a carbon credit pass.
