Only in this one Powell claims Obama saved the Oil industry instead of the auto industry. I couldn't believe it the first time so paid very close attention the second time. Oil industry!! Tooo bizarre. I was so shocked I didn't notice who sponsored the commercial.
There are plenty of oil company CEO’s who are barfing in their Wheaties over that one, I’ll bet.

We have seen the very bottom of the barrel in political ads this election, sponsored by the Democrats. To accuse Romney of killing someone’s wife, to say he didn’t pay income taxes, the ludicrous “first time” ad......voters feel like that little girl who cried out in misery that she wanted this campaign to stop.

I think you are correct, at least a switch in parties. I think Mr Powell, is finding it hard, in the circle he now travels in, to remain a Republican and maintain his acceptance.
His values run skin deep, as in color.
I don’t know which channel it was on but I was watching Gold Rush and I saw the add at least 4 times. He did say Obama saved the oil industry and also that the housing market was getting better.(somthing to that effect) Sick add by a sick man.

There’s a huge issue in Britain these days about a guy who,it seems,was much loved by Brits for decades,Jimmy Saville.He had been knighted by the Queen and was a national icon there and I guess it was *major* news when he died last year.However,just in the last month or so *very* strong evidence has emerged indicating that he had been diddling teenage girls for decades...dozens,if not hundreds,of them.The outrage and disgust has been all over the British papers during this time.Although I’ve suspected since ‘08 I’ve just become convinced that Powell’s been “diddling†the nation for several decades...at least.
