Real Change From Day One [Video of R+R rally in Ohio today]

President Obama promised change, but he could not deliver it. I promise change, and I have a record of achieving it. This is why I am running for president. I know how to change the course the nation is on, how to get us to a balanced budget and how to build jobs and rising take-home pay. Accomplishing real change is not something I just talk about--it is something I have done. And it is what will do when I am President of the United States.

If you believe we can do better, if you believe America should be on a better course, if you are tired of being tired, then I ask you to vote for real change. Paul Ryan and I will bring real change to America, from Day One.

You said it was Ohio, but it’s really Wisconsin... Is that you, Joe?

Forgot to say: thanks for posting it. Hadn't seen it. Enjoying the audio in the background right now :)

It's amazing how Romney has transformed as a speaker this year.

He used to be stiff and detached seeming, but now he's just downright enjoyable. My best Liberal friend loved his Alfred E. Smith dinner speech. If you haven't watched it, you MUST! It's my favorite speech from him so far. If you're going to watch it try to find one that pans over for Obama's fake-smile reactions.

Romney has actually become a heck of a campaigner. He really has grown into the role and become pretty impressive. As someone who has never been a big fan, I am seriously impressed at how good Mitt has become on the stump.

Good observation.

Romney proved himself equally adept at debating. One is brought back to the declaration by Ann Romney that her husband simply will not fail. One gets the impression that she knows what she is talking about from decades of intimate experience and not just through love-tinted glasses.

Concededly he lost his Senate race to Ted Kennedy, probably a hopeless undertaking from inception, but he came back and went on to become governor of that state. One gets the impression that Romney simply keeps on keeping on until he gets it right.

His manner on the stump before tens of thousands of people was conversational, personal, and therefore intimate as opposed to stentorian, in which an orator like Obama ends up shouting at the audience and achieves a certain emotional reaction which is, I believe, transitory.

Romney convinced 25,000 or more people in that audience that he was speaking to each one of them and persuaded them fully that he was 100% qualified to be President of the United States by virtue of stature and character. Granted these people were supporters and ready-made for an easy sale, but his effect in the debates produced the same results among skeptics nationwide.

You look at Mitt Romney today and you see a president on the hoof. Obama falls pitifully short in the comparison.

I believe he will win this election and I believe he will come close to doing what he says. My only reservation is that he does not say exactly what I want but I am in no position as a drowning citizen to spurn my only hope of rescue.

Yes! I watched the Alfred E. Smith dinner speech by Romney live on C-SPAN I think! It was hilarious with all the digs at the ONE.
