Jim, I can’t tell you how much this site has meant to me; it was like finding a gold mine. There is such an eclectic group of God-fearing Patriots here!

I linked here off of Drudge in ‘08 when you all were cutting edge on the eligibility issue. I was soon enthralled with the wit, wisdom, breadth of knowledge and intercourse of ideas here.

I decided to wade in, finally and got pummeled awhile and still look for fistfights on occasion but this is IT for Conservative Patriots! God Bless you Sir, and thank you for your service to this Nation in uniform, and thereafter as procreator of this forum.

I came here a Palinista, but I, too will vote Romney/Ryan. We need to hold their feet to the fire, but I think they sense what has brought them to this juncture in history.

Having said that, where are the Android/iPhone apps?
Practically every site has them, why not FR?
Free Republic crashes under even the most minimal deluge of users, and is impossible to reach it during heavy events, like the recent Presidential debates. Lord knows I won’t be able to get in on Election Night - I’m sure the heavy volume will cause the servers to crash, so I won’t even try.
With all due respect, I think a complete redesign and reorganization of Freerepublic.com is in order. Quite frankly, it appears that this site hasn’t been updated since I began coming here in 1998.
What are you doing to modernize it??
I mean all of this only as truly constructive criticism.
