Went into a big name video store many years ago, on their screens they had the BEST trailer for a syfy/horror type film, made me rent the movie, which turned out to be,(Wait for it.) “THE WORST MOVIE IN THE HISTORY OF MOVIES!” (The movie is so bad I won’t tell you the title because NO ONE should have to endure it.)
I hope you are right and this turns out to be a great show, PBS may be changing their stripes, and starting to go in a whole new direction,(for them). Maybe all this deufnd PBS thing is getting to them and they are turning over a new leaf with non-dems.
However be prepared that you may have seen the BEST parts of it already in the trailer. (ESPECIALLY since it’s from P(ure)BS.)
You didn’t read my post very carefully. I saw the full show on PBS but only posted a link to the trailer since the full show is not up on the web,
As I mentioned in my original post, they didn’t really bring up anything that’s not already well known to everyone in this forum. So it’s NOT compelling viewing from that perspective. It’s just the novelty of seeing a right of center based show on PBS that makes it worth viewing.
With the exception of one British twit in the middle of the program pushing the usual Keynsian print more money crap, all the other people were pushing anti-Keynsian, less government spending arguments.
