As the election draws closer, the economy and jobs remain top issues in the presidential race.

President Obama points to the improvement in the labor market since he took office in the midst of a downward spiral.

Both he and Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney have five-point plans for improving the economy, although their strategies differ.

One of my liberal buddies posted this to FB claiming that Romney won't be creating jobs after all. Not since the economy is set to produce 12 million jobs anyway. Not sure he read the whole article - it does a lame attempt of at least recognizing there are 'conservative' economists who say Romney's policies would facilitate this - Obama's would not.

I was over at DummieLand a few days ago, and someone posted something about NPR. The DUmmies’ comments were all about how NPR has now become a conservative shill.

HUH??
With fewer people employed, more of the employed working less then 40 hours, many without benefits, how can there be improvement in the labor market?
