A House committee's lawsuit against Attorney General Eric Holder over his refusal to turn over some documents related to the fallout from Operation Fast and Furious will move forward at a faster pace than the parties requested, a federal judge ruled Wednesday.

The Justice Department moved on Oct. 15 to throw out the lawsuit brought by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and agreed with the House panel that it's lawyers could have two months to respond to that motion. However, U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson rejected that proposal on Wednesday, saying that the House committee should file its response by Nov. 16.

Romney could start issuing executive orders on the letter head of The Office of The President Elect.

Fast and Furious has become a complete joke, with the administration running circles around these investigations. Ping me when someone loses so much as a reserved parking spot over it.

This had better not go away when Romney wins and Obama leaves office.

Notice a pattern emerge after 4 years of the Obama presidency:

Afghanistan... more americans die, not less, as the military changes its rules of engagement and prepares to leave as per Obama orders;

Iraq... increase in Al-qaida numbers and terrorist actions, with cars bombs killing hundreds.

Egypt... Now Governed by the Muslim Brotherhood, Al-qaida’s birth place. They take our money and swear to destroy us and Israel.

Libya... Benghazi-gate, the effect of a lead from behind mentality.

Chicago... the homicide rate has now surpassed last year’s rate, with two months to go.

Fast and furious... thousands of weapons transferred into the hands of murderous vermin resulting in untold numbers murdered, including Brian Terry.

Gas Prices; The Economy; Rise is Racial Hatred and Racial Crime (black on white violence; knock out games, black flash mobs and worse); Lies, Lies and more Lies... could go on and on, but I’ve got stuff to do today, the very thing Obama counts on...

Yes. President Romney can and I hope use executive privilege order to reverse King Obama's freeze on all documents by the entire Administrative branch.

Damned straight! This can’t be swept under the rug under the banner of “reaching across the aisle.” These bastards in the Just Us Dept. all need to be tried and if found guilty, sentenced to prison. Also, the BATF needs some serious reigning in of “it’s mission.”

I propose that the BATFE be repurposed to exclusively removing all ATFE from Hollywierd and TV programs.

That ought to defund the leftist media cabal that wants to trash the 2nd Amendment. They deserve to experience the same first.

I remember when we all just knew that GW would reveal all the petty crap that went on in the Peoples House when the Clintons left.

Instead, GW's daddy adopted Bill as a new son and GW proclaims him a new brother.

Royalty, we have it too.

With Obama invoking executive privilege about this matter, Fast & Furious, that he, Obama, claimed on TV that he didn't know about? This could be interesting just as a separation of powers argument.

Yes. But in the meantime, keeping the documents under subpoena means that the DOJ has to be very discrete with its shredders between Nov 7 and Jan 20. They will be shredding. But will have to work very hard to make the shredding untraceable. So they will be much slower and not be able to destroy as much evidence.
