“Mammoth storm Sandy”

Katrina, Cat 5, 175mph
Allen, Cat 5, 190mph
Andrew, Cat 5, 175mph
Camille, Cat 5, 190mph measured before it destroyed the measuring instruments.

Sandy, Cat 1, 90mph. (the “monster storm” in history, because it happened in the belt between DC and NYC, the most important place on earth. Also, gave Obozo a chance to play master and commander of the far side of the earth)

Thanks for putting it in perspective. The South has born the brunt of many killer hurricanes. Galveston has been completely wiped out by hurricanes in the early 20th century.
