Then they stood next to the flag draped caskets holding the mutilated remains of Americans and blamed it all on a You Tube post.

Then the 44th President of the United States went before the world and haughtily stated that “the future must not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam”

Indeed.

Lacey2 : ~”This Administration claims it never ordered help NOT to be sent. These are weasel words. Ignoring a call for help is no different than a refusal to help whether it be an explicit written order or not.Assistance denied is assistance refused. It’s as simple as that.”

A decision to not offer aid when aid is requested is still a DECISION TO DO NOTHING !

milagro ~:” I am very certain that 0 received—in real time—the requests for help; in fact, his answer to the Denver reporter that he “did not deny” the requests prove that he DID get them. But he did NOTHING in response to them—which gives him the weasel room to say he did not deny them.

As I’ve written in several posts here on FR, the man is a Coward, not a Commander, in Chief, ...”

These two comments encapture the crux of the issue :
request for aid was sent and recieved
the request was ignored - and that is a decision made
the Commander-in-Chief chose not to lead
the man is a coward, .. and abandoned his duty
and good men died ... and the leader of the nation slept !

. . “ but did you receive a request for assistance. . “?

” We’re still reviewing all the uh, infor uh mation that uh, you know, came in. . .

That means YES, but the President of the United States was upstairs eating a Sno Cone and left word that he was not to be disturbed since it was after working hours.

That seems to be a here-say story that was picked up by many, and has been deemed inacurrate.

Who deemed it inaccurate and why?

That’s what I was trying to say, Lacey.

At this point in time, I think they did nothing which seems WORSE IMO.

John McCain says that the Benghazi surveillance tapes have been classified top secret. He has sent a letter asking that they be declassified:

Senators McCain, Ayotte and Graham request immediate declassification of Benghazi surveillance video

I saw somewhere there were 20 admin staff at this “consulate.”

What happened to them? Why were they not killed? Where are they now - and why is no one talking to them?

All very puzzling

I really doubt there are a lot of General officers who are going to order an attack on foreign soil without confirmation from the White House.

When the knowledge of the first drone came out, it was stated that it was filming the attack - and the cries for help could be heard by people watching in real time - but no one was responding. When I heard that, I wondered how the people watching could just sit by and do nothing. This train of thought made me think that this was a deliberate hit on the Ambassador and it was filmed for some reason. Why? If the drone that was filming was there before the attack started, it would go a long way toward proving that the whole thing was set up by the administration, and was just following a script: starting with the reduction of security at the consulate in the weeks beforehand, then the production of the “video,” then the filming of the attack.

Where did FoxNews get the film that they use when reporting on Benghazi? The quality is too good to be from hand-held video cams or cell phones.

Bing West: There WAS NO PRESIDENTIAL ORDER to Secure Benghazi Consulate

See(Video)

By: Jim Hoft
10/28/2012 01:01 PM

On Friday former Assistant Secretary of Defense Bing West told Greta Van Susteren that if Obama gave the order to secure the consulate in Benghazi on 9-11 there would be a paper trail.

This morning on FOX News Bing West doubled down.
West does not believe there ever was a presidential order:

“In my judgement the audio track will show the White House knew that there was an attack going on. The real critical issue is the president says that he immediately ordered all available assets to help. The military would have put out an order from the president. There’s no question about that… What I’m asking is, “Show us the order!” Mr. President if you said use everything available and our military immediately sent out the order, simply show us the order. I have great reservations that there is no such order.“

As for stories about AFRICOM not having the ability to send help because it hasn’t been developed enough to have the assets to do so, here’s what Panetta hmself said about Gen Ham and AFRICOM:

” “Under his leadership, Africom has played a very central role in some very important missions,” the secretary said. “From the NATO campaign in Libya that led to the fall of Gadhafi to successful counterterrorism efforts in Somalia [and] Yemen to efforts we are now involved in in Nigeria and Mali and elsewhere, General Ham has really brought Africom into a very pivotal role in that challenging region.”

AFRICOM Mission statement:

Africa Command protects and defends the national security interests of the United States by strengthening the defense capabilities of African states and regional organizations and, when directed, conducts military operations, in order to deter and defeat transnational threats and to provide a security environment conducive to good governance and development.

I’m not sure of the number, but the few at the consulate were rescued (along with Sean Smith’s body) and driven to the annex by armored vehicle where they joined others. When the annex came under fire, they were all piled into the vehicle and were driven out of the city to the airport.

>>I am very certain that 0 received--in real time--the requests for help; in fact, his answer to the Denver reporter that he "did not deny" the requests prove that he DID get them.

At worst, he behaved like an America-hating Muslim. If I were to be charitable and give him the benefit of the doubt, I would say he is in over his head and incapable of making a decision.

*** Failure to make a decision is itself a decision. ***

In this case a very bad one.

Another Epic Fail from the imposter in the White House.

“Are the American military commanders so neutered that they have to wait for orders from on high before responding to Americans in immediate danger?” - LH

To lawfully cross a border for combat action the POTUS MUST sign-off on the order.

Ham likely had assets in motion, waiting for the approval...then we know for a fact that order from the POTUS never came. (Panetta confirmed.) In spite of the statement from Obama that he made 3 directives when he first heard of the attack. The first of these was supposedly to do everything possible to secure our personnel.
