Treachery and betrayal were the Administration's response, as the media gives Obama cover.
What more does anyone need to know than that Americans are under attack before ordering a military response to suppress the attack and possibly rescue our people?
Even if the initial response isn't exactly what you'd want it to be, even if you don't have every asset available that you might in a perfect world, isn't it your duty -- whether you're a lowly second lieutenant or the Secretary of Defense -- to do everything you can as quickly as you can?
Of course it is, at least unless you're President Obama and his minions. His two principal flunkies -- Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta -- had a lot of options on September 11 during the seven-hour attack on our Benghazi consulate and the CIA house about a mile away. According to a Fox News report based on several sources, the people under attack pled with the CIA for help three times during the attack and all three pleas were refused. Team Obama did nothing to save their lives.
The accuracy of the Fox report is easily derived from other facts. One element of proof that the requests were made -- by people under fire -- comes from Panetta's whining. According to a Reuters report, Panetta said there wasn't enough information to responsibly deploy forces to Libya during the attack. "You don't deploy forces into harm's way without knowing what's going on, without having some real-time information about what's taking place."
Really, Mr. Secretary? Let's set aside the fact that one or more drones were over the consulate during the attack, sending back the information Panetta says he needed. But the drone issue begs the question:.....

The online editions of the New York Times and Washington Post today ignore the Libya story.
Both the NYT and the Washington Post have endorsed Obama.

WHY was Stevens in Benghazi with no secuity?
WHY did his 16 man security team get pulled from him in August??
Eric Nordstrom said "The TALIBAN is in the building"!!
The Founders recognized the vital importance of an informed populace in maintaining freedom but now we tell lies to ourselves to be part of the in-crowd.
C'est fini.
This. Strip away all the clutter. Strip away all the obfuscation and this, this is the bottom line. This is the sum total of Obama's motive and reason for making the decision to act.
Go back and look at my posts from many days ago, I have long held that team Obama made a conscience decison not to act because he valued the lives and feelings of the Islamists over that of Americans.
This is EXACTLY how I view it as well.
What I'd like to know is where that drone (or drones) came from? Why was it already over the consulate? I'm no expert, but I would bet you they don't just have a bunch of drones sitting around at alert-5. Even if they "just happened" to have a drone ready, I don't think you just take off and fly it around like your model airplane. It seems to me that it would take some planning - like a real flight plan, deconfliction with other assets in the air, maybe even permission from the host Country or at least permission from far up our chain of command to violate their airspace... Then you'd have to have the comms set up, channels to bring the video, stills, elint, whatever back and record and secure it properly. Then it would take some time in ingress from where ever the drone was based...
The upshot of this is, that drone didn't "just happen" to be in the neighborhood. Someone knew there was a high probability of something happening and tasked that asset to cover it well in advance. Yet these same people, somewhere up there in obama-land, possibly even hussein himself, intentionally did not improve security for this same anticipated event.
Someone needs to go to prison for life, or face a firing squad for this. They intentionally left our people hanging in the face of the enemy.
We all know - all of us - that if this had occurred under a Republican administration, especially if they had an opportunity to influence an election, the corrupt MSM would be working feverishly to uncover exactly what happened. There would be wall-to-wall media coverage.
The MSM is totally corrupt and evil. Even the lives of an American ambassador is expendable if it helps them cover for Obama and their Democrat brethren.
As more information comes in, I am convinced that there was a very sensetive CIA operation going on there. We now have confirmed that the two former SEALS were not part of the security detail for the Embassy and were likely part of some operation taking place at that CIA house. This whole thing stinks of a dirty black op gone wrong and sending in reinforcements was not politically valuable for this administration. The only reason to not increase security in a place like Libya, on Sept 11, is to maintain cover.
If an airstrike were called in, the situation would have blown up even more and something would have been revealed. They left that operation to burn to the ground to maintain secrecy and cover. I cant even begin to speculate on what was really going on there but its obvious to anyone with half a brain that the offical story doesnt add up and never will. I find it ironic that we will risk going in to take out Osama in the middle of Pakistan, a hostile forein nation, but Panetta wont risk an air strike during an “embassy attack” with up to two drones in the air and communication with the people on the ground. It doesnt add up. Nothing does. It’s disgusting, shameful, and tarnishes the honor and reputation of our military. I hope at some point the truth will be revealed and those who perpetrated this shameful event are held accountable. It’s doubtful, but you never know.
To act would have undermined his whole foreign policy meme since killing OBL - that Al Qaeda had been neutralized and the ME was all peace and light.
This should piss every red blooded America off to no end! If Obama was next to me I'd feel like spitting in this LOSER'S face. I probably wouldn't do it, but ONLY out of respect for the presidency. No matter WHAT Obama did or did not do, HE is RESPONSIBLE for this because he had the command power to save these lives and did NOTHING! If he gave the 3 directives he stated he gave, then he would have had to NOT FOLLOW UP on them! For 7 hours this PRICK did NOTHING! That's a slam dunk for the MSM, but those losers are no where to be found either!
The accuracy of the Fox report is easily derived from other facts.
Yeah, and these COWARD SCUMBAG in the Obama adm are denying they didn't give any stand down orders! And won't tell us who did! Well somebody did, and I as a citizen of these United States will not rest until I get a straight answer from this gov't! Somebody has to pursue these informational FACTS and someone in this Obama adm HAS TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THOSE 4 DEATHS! It was a tragedy these four men were ABANDONED and died!
If I was in the military or working for the Gov't right now I would be LIVIDLY POed at Obama! I am seething!!!
MEDIA-GATE
In fact, we should give them a BLACKOUT!
I am completely heartbroken for the Americans murdered by those savages and for the families of the murdered Americans.
I cannot even imagine what they went through- especially when they realized that the Commander in Chief- who some military personnel have rightfully refused to accept orders from- had no skin in their game and all but gave the ok to his fellow muslims to kill our Americans throught his lack of action.
I cannot, CANNOT begin to understand the SEVEN hours of gunfight that they endured ALL ALONE while the cic was sleeping like a baby, probably curled up with his body man, in a warm bed, protected by SS and military personnel.
It is (and its wife) the most disgusting POS walking on this earth. My dogs’ feces have more worth than either of them.
0bama has now officially deposed Jimmy Carter as “worst US President”. Carter at least tried to rescue our diplomats in Iran.
Now we know that to be a lie because they had "real-time" email, voice comms, and even a drone overhead. But say that were true, consider the following:
1. No matter how good the intel, our combatants can never be sure of the outcome when going into a hostile situation. The fact we have little to ZERO intel where IED's are placed on roadways in theater is one example. There are always countless other unknowns - think about a simple patrol in a town and how often our Troops are ambushed or how we recently lost some 20 SEALS and others from one raghead with an RPG. Where was the intel on those?
2. It is the responsibility of the Armed Forces to deal with such uncertainty, even with the best of intel. That's there damn purpose...to risk there lives for the mission.
3. Even as "cold war" sailor, I knew that sh*t happens and could have been blown out of the water at anytime by a Russian submarine even with all our counter measures.
4. Tell the SEALS, Delta, Rangers, Marine Recon, Air Force ground air controllers, not to mention the regular infantry grunt, they shouldn't bother because there is no guarantee they will come home alive or whole.
4. Yes, there is "fog of war". So then I guess we should never engage unless sure of the outcome.
Does Panetta think every military operation has perfect intel which can predict a positive casualty free outcome? Tell that to the countless troops who have come home dead or limbless! Sheesh! What a lame excuse. I would bet there are countless military that would have joined the fight no matter what the intel to save an Ambassador of the USA.
I may be wrong, but send in whatever assets no matter how far and at least attempt to help no matter the outcome. And this idea of not sending in aircraft to at least strafe the area in fear of killing civilians is abhorrent to me. When did we start letting our Ambassadors die in fear that some stupid civilians in the area may get killed? Oh right, September 11, 2012. That kind of mentality would have lost us WWII.
Last thought: The idea that we shouldn't intrude on Libyan air space is a joke. Obambi had no problem with sending in bombers to assist the great Arab Spring in Libya.
End really pis*ed off rant.
Start with the removal of Gaddafi and control of the Libyan National Bank. The truth is that we were (and are) supplying weapons to both sides fighting for control of Libya (and Egypt and...), and they are playing just as dirty as we are.
The problem is that we have to support them enough to ensure the winner keeps their promise to allow the RULING ELITE access to their hidden caches of gold.
Our CIA (Defense Clandestine Agency???) is buying weapons from one side and selling them to the other. Half the weapons came for the US and half from Iran.
It's all a very nasty business, and OBAMA and HILLARY couldn't win if they tried. Valerie Jarrett controls Obama, and her job is to keep US FORCES from interfering in the NATION BUILDING of the MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD, over in the middle east and in Africa.
Dec. 21, 2012. Will Valerie Jarrett announce the overthrow of the US Government ?
“Ministry of Truth”.
There's a passage in Mila 18 (Warsaw Ghetto uprising) in which a German commander in Warsaw is trying to explain to his superior why, given the German view of Jews, he is having so much trouble suppressing the uprising.
The Won finds himself in a similar situation, trying to avoid admitting that the "Arab Spring", whether by accident or design, has gone horribly wrong with respect to Western interests.
(Those of us with 1% of a clue knew from the beginning that it was "by design")
