Is Obama's ground game, "GONE WITH THE WIND"?

In an election cycle that many say is Historic in it's importance to the future of our Nation, the Economy, as well as it's Cultural, and Moral well-being.. NOW, we may be facing an additional new Epic crises blowing into the mix, enter.. "SANDY"

ELECTIONS, MIDEAST UPHEAVAL, EU UNCERTAINTY, WAR, SANDY!

Hollywood, could not have conjured up a more EPIC storyline to this PERFECT STORM!!

The conditions could not be more _______! Depending upon your political predilections, these dynamics are impacting the campaigns for the Presidency, and all of the down ticket elected offices..

Glaring headlines touting ominous phrases; "Wreaking Havoc", "Urgent Warnings", "THREATENING SURGE", are near indiscriminate in describing the pending hurricane, and the Obama reelection dilemma.. With the Romney campaign peaking at an unprecedented pace, the Obama campaign is searching for mere safe footing..

The only apparent beachhead to stem the approaching Romney tidalwave, is the vaunted Democrat Ground Game, that has been strategically built, over the past four years, with the Billion dollar fundraising effort that the Obama campaign has amassed, that some would ascribe as being at his peril, by ignoring more pressing Presidential duties and responsibilities..

The pending storm surge expected with the arrival of Sandy, threatens the East Coast with high tides, damaging winds, with rising waters.. The timetable for the storm will hit at the peak of early voting in an area that are some of the most tightly contested states in this Election contest..

Not since Grant took Richmond, has Virginia been so vital to the future of our country, as is, PA, WV, NH, NC, and as far away as the all important state of Ohio.. All could be severely impacted by the effects of this massive weather pattern, for days, if not weeks to come..

Typically, rising water, wind damage, electrical power, and bridge and road destruction, can, and will interrupt lives to what extent has yet to be determined.. But, if past history is any indicator, this calamity will undoubtedly reek havoc on the outcome of this election..

If the Ground Game, is the last resort for President Obama's reelection HOPE, this contest may be the CHANGE, that ends it prematurely..

What's going to happen over the next weeks when the Feds cannot print all the monthly checks. Are the stay at home wars of the government going to be upset when their kiss is the mail are not delivered?

It is not really Free Republic. It is but a frail shadow of what once was.

That’s one scenario, Carlo, and I hope it’s what we see happen. The other scenario is that polls are held open in competitive states like Pennsylvania until enough fraud is committed to ensure that the ‘rat desired outcome is achieved.

You are correct, our polling place is about 1 mile away via a road that is prone to flooding in very severe heavy rain. I will walk to the polls and wade through hip - deep water if necessary to vote against Hussain Obama and all of his democRAT minions running for office in NH. The wife has already voted via absentee ballot straight republican ticket!

Everyone I talked to in adult Sunday School and in church today is thoroughly disgusted with Obama and they can not wait until they can vote him and his evil minions out of office on Nov 6th.

The numerous people I talked to are fired up and are are "broken glass" republicans!

Thanks! I just feel so powerless. Wish we could do something substantial about this media coverup.

I never thought about it until your post.. Not only will the roads be impaired, and by extension, the mail will be interrupted, perhaps indefinitely..

Absentee ballots, to and from, will be affected in some way, to what degree is far from being determined..

Now, one has to wonder just how much the regime will milk this crises to what advantage? .. oh no.. yikes

bert, my old FRiend, I too feel a bit different now that I have been away.. Not that I haven’t gotten back into the fray, there is a hollow feeling in my gut, that I can’t put my finger on..

However, it could be that we are all just getting older, and too many of our old buddies are sadly gone.. whatever.. snif.. :)

I did my 6 hours at the polls on Friday to get my training for this election cycle.. Most of the folks that were there are the same that volunteer every major election, and most of my OLD friends and I always ask for the Deep Blue Dem Poll Locations..

There was a palatable uneasy feeling in the room, as we all surmise is a bit different this time, as in we expect something to happen out of the ordinary BS that they will be trying..

We shall see.. gulp!.. :)

Have you noticed that Obama has lost 6 points in three days? If that is true, and I have no reason to believe that it isn't, that means that folks are finally beginning to pay attention.. Much to the disappointment of the MSM and the Obama reelection campaign..

Maybe. But imagine what the slide in points would be if Benghazi was being covered by the media as it should be. I’ve been away from the ‘net for a few hours and just checked twitter. All new information from Rep. Chaffetz to Fox News about his interactions with General Carter Ham.

Well, most often they come in a plain brown wrapper, but I think Valerie got the deluxe model with Greek columns and a teleprompter...
