Colin Powell's former chief of staff publicly blasted the Republican Party and one of Mitt Romney’s top aide as racists over a controversial comment regarding Powell’s endorsement of President Obama.
Appearing on Ed Schultz's MSNBC show Friday, retired Army Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson said, 'My party is full of racists' in response to John Sununu's remark that the only reason Powell, a Republican who served as secretary of state under George W. Bush, backed the Democratic incumbent is because both men are black.
Wilkerson told Schultz that he respected Sununu 'as a Republican,' but did ‘not have any respect for the integrity of the position that [Sununu] seemed to codify.

Now as to Colon Powell....yes Colon....he was once a warrior who discovered how handy it was career wise in an affirmative action Army to be mostly black but look, sound and act white.....He always gave the ring banging good old boys network in the Army what they needed....an upwardly mobile colored mannequin to hold up like a talisman whenever they were challenged on their diversity program.
In return, Colon got promotions and choice assignments over his paler, more qualified and competent colleagues....even getting jumped over 36 more senior generals to be named the youngest and first “almost black?” Chairman of the Joints Chiefs of Staff by a new Republican President (Old Man George Bush). Ol Georgie was eager to build his rep as trendy, hip, and even with the happening “thingy”. Oh, and because Colon was just that great. Yeah. That great. Really Colon deserved it.... Colon's color didn't have anything to do with it. Read George's lips. It is true.
So, old Colon ended his show dog boot licking Army career as just another house “n-word” proving that shallow conservatives knew what political theater was just as well as the shallow libtards. While one of the white guys he got promoted over (Schwarzkopf) did all the heavy lifting and brain work during Desert Storm.....gee, we never see that in real life do we. But Colon almost got a 5th star because he stopped Stormin Norman 60 miles short of Baghdad and ensured we got to go back a second time. Clauswitz and Napoleon have nothing on Colon....except skill and judgement I suppose.
Colon was called back as Sec of State by Georgie junior because his Dad told him he had to....and Colon was the only Republican stupid enough to actually believe Saddam Husein had WMD’s. What a tool.
Who cares who Colon endorses.....but if he is voting for Commander Zero for any reason OTHER than Obama is mostly kinda sorta black just like Colon...then he really is a moron. Why else would anybody vote for the worst president since....well, I guess he is the worst president period.
So Colon spent his life getting ahead and being there by being, as Joe Biden described Obama....a real clean black man that didn't smell funny.

therefore, if you are a President that hopes to get reelected by promising to those who will not, booty and spoils from those who can and do, by dividing Americans along class lines, by inciting jealousy and envy and animosity, then I can not vote for you. It isn't because of your race, it's because of the appalling lack of American inside of you and because of the dangerous divisions you create and exploit.
what's more, the judgement of this President who was well known to be wholly unqualified for the job from day one, has led this country, not out of a recession, but straight into the eye of an economic blackhole. He has paved the road to hell.

Colin Powell is a disgrace, and so, apparently, is his “chief-of-staff”... I wonder if he was down in Jamaica when Powell was hanging around with Farrakhan earlier this week? As if someone who WASN’T an anti-”White” racist would want their pictures taken with this man, or be OK with being seated (sitting) next to him??? This is absolutely sickening...
If this guy voted for socialist Obama like Powell, then he ain’t no Republican any way, any how, by that fact alone. And that has nothing to do with race.
I am going to go somewhat against the grain here, at least when it comes to Powell himself, when it comes to his stances here. I just don’t think Powell intended to bring down the Republican Party as a sort of insider liberal Democrat nor do i think he was always a liberal Democrat. I think the political and social pressure of being a sell out Uncle Tom and a black man who wants to be white, coming from such an ungodly number of people inside and outside his racial community, broke him down and broke his spirit. These things happen.
That said, Wilkerson is still acting like an irresponsible jackass.
