I inserted the following into the detailed narratvie and timeline I already have in this article on my site, due to the revelations we have heard today:

Let me interject here and say something about this situation. It is a wretched, shameful situation. The Mobile Security Team at the Annex, one mile from the Consulate, knew tha attack was ongoing from the moment it started when the Eminent Danger Notification System was activated. They begged their superiors from the start to relieve the Consulate. But they were ordered to stand down. This happened three times, and at some point the two Navy SEALS working for the State Department at the Annex, Glen Dorrity and Tyrone Woods, became involved and argued strenuoulsy to be allowed to organize efforts to help the consulate. With their skills, and with the MST which was created and trained for precisely these types of situations, they were uniquely qualified to do so. After the third denial, Woods and Dorrity determined that the orders had to be disobeyed and organized a group to go to the consulate to their relief. This was the force just spoken of that came to the relief of the consulate and extracted the survivors, although too late to hel Sean Smith and Ambassador Stevens.

This is probably the most dispicable, shameful event in US foreign policy in the last 100 years at least...and surely in my life time.

The truth is coming out, and it needs to take down those who were involved in this...and not just out of office. They need to be breaking large rocks into smaller rocks behind bars for the rest of their life...at the best.

Because of your background work and writing and frankly, because while scrolling just now I spotted your post, I have a question.

The photo above marks the arrival of the four coffins of those that died in the Benghazi Consulate/Annex assault. Notice that the Honor Guard Pall Bearers are all US Marines, while the color guard represents all the services.

Glen Dorrity and Tyrone Woods were both former US Navy SEALS, Sean Smith IIRC was former US Air Force. Ambassador Stevens as far as I know had no armed services background.

So my question is this. Isn't the usual protocol to have members of the fallen's service to act as the Honor Guard?

There's the dark imp of my mind that suggests the all Marine composition is political theater, yet Mr. Woods statements today suggest that this may be so and not just imagining.
