The federal judge who last month ordered taxpayer-funded sex-change surgery for transsexual wife-killer Robert Kosilek is now forcing the state prison system to hire an expert to determine whether he needs electrolysis hair-removal treatment.
U.S. District Court Chief Judge Mark L. Wolf issued the order yesterday, telling the Department of Correction to identify the expert by Nov. 2 to evaluate Kosilek to determine whether electrolysis is medically necessary, and/or to provide the electrolysis, if it is ordered to do so.
A state prison doctor testified in 2010 that Kosilek doesnt need the treatment; that doctor, Robert Deiner, will be called to testify again at a Nov. 19 hearing.
Wolf, in a landmark ruling last month, ordered the surgery for Kosilek, 63, an MCI-Norfolk lifer who suffers from gender-identity disorder and sued the state to provide sex-change surgery in 2006.
The state is appealing that decision, arguing correction officials are already providing adequate medical treatment.Kosilek, who legally changed his name to Michelle, was convicted in 1992 of strangling his wife, Cheryl, and leaving her body at a mall.

Did you post the right picture? I think that’s Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
the Big House just ain’t what it used to be.
I thought the idea was punishment...ha silly me
This judge needs to be removed from office, he is probley no different then the perp.
As long as we are stuck paying for this nonsense, I’ll vote yes. I think they should start from the top and work their way down and remove every hair from his body.
Perhaps the taxpayers should provide him with a Brazilian...
Give IT electrolysis, and hope that he is over grounded for any power surge that might happen.
As a matter of fact I think yes...YES HE DOES!
Good one. Oddly enough when I first misread the headline, I thought that was what it was about.
Ah, messed up the post but apparently I was late to the party anyway!
I vote for fingernail removal, you pick the mechanism.
I wonder if his wife would have gotten the same considerations, too,if she had done HALF as much to a transsexual???????
Who am I kidding? She’d get an extra HATE CRIME CHARGE for picking on a sexual “minority”!
After this travesty, the General Court should
allow the murderer to practice Law without a license
like others in the DNC ... and become a judge like them.
Just put it down. It will self-depilate.
I did read the headline correctly...but my mind just wandered to Ol’ Sparky of its own accord.
Guess I’m just wired that way.
All this could have been solved with one bullet administered by his victim’s next of kin. That’s all this freak is entitled to.
Wasting public money on this lunatic is insanity redoubled. We need to return to simpler solutions.
"Wolf was nominated by President Ronald Reagan on March 8, 1985, to a new seat created by 98 Stat. 333. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on April 3, 1985, and received his commission on April 4, 1985. Wolf has served as chief judge for the District Court for the District of Massachusetts since 2006."
...And for anyone still complaining that Romney is no Reagan, keep in mind Reagan occasionally dropped a ball or two himself!
Hmmmm! Considering the subject,I probably could have put that better.......
