Singer: Obama's EPA Plans for 2013 (hidden from voters - regulations, job losses and costs....)
The American Thinker ^ | October 25, 2012 | S. Fred Singer

The November elections will determine the direction of US climate policy -- and therefore also energy policy and the pace of economic growth: jobs, standards of living, budget deficits and inflation. Obama has already promised to make climate change the centerpiece of his concern -- with all that implies: "Green" energy policy, linked to loss of jobs (Keystone pipeline disapproval), rising gas prices (ethanol mandates), and crony capitalism (Solyndra).

By contrast, Romney is a climate skeptic -- and Ryan has been quite outspoken: the perfect anti-Gore. The science supports Romney-Ryan -- notwithstanding the UN-IPCC, and the bulk of the climate scientists living high on the hog on government grants.

All of this emerged from campaign rhetoric -- but it needs to be spelled out more clearly. Note that Obama no longer promises to "heal the Earth and stop the rise of the oceans." He has also been uncharacteristically quiet about his efforts to "make electricity prices skyrocket." But there is more in store if he is re-elected and unleashes the full regulatory apparatus of the EPA.

....This report enumerates the slew of environmental regulations that the Obama-Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has delayed or punted on before the election while President Obama is trying to earn votes; but the Obama-EPA plans to move full speed ahead to implement this agenda if President Obama wins a second term. As this report reveals, these rules taken together will inevitably result in the elimination of millions of American jobs, drive up the price of gas at the pump even more, impose construction bans on local communities, and essentially shut down American oil, natural gas, and coal production......

Two thirds of the EPA should be let go the day after President Romney is inaugurated.

There is no single act under the president’s direct control that will have a more profound beneficial effect on our economy.

I’m going to up the ante to three quarters, but we really know where it ought to be if there is to be peace in Washington DC, and prosperity in the rest of the nation.

If the TURD should steal a win, this beautiful (FREE) country is doomed.

The easiest thing to do...is walk into the EPA on day one, and have the new boss direct that divisions are going to be reorganized within twelve months, and that five-percent of the employees will be unnecessary....but only after a long review process.

What this does is focus everyone on internal affairs and arguing against each other for months and months. High-level folks dismantle each other in staff meetings and there’s no real work done in the end.

What is WRONG with our current CIC?! It’s as though he’s intentionally trying to make life harder for the American people and crush their spirits. I have never seen a president that is so destructive to the U.S. That is supported so fervently as though hypnotized with their common sense completely plucked from their skulls.

Exactly! Homey in Chief wants everyone to feel what it is like to live in the hood, like Chicago.

I like how you think, or is it experience talking?

For starters, he's never been "ours".

I go for 100%.

Then rethink each & every regulation put into place in the first place & think twice about anything new.

An Oregon man spent 30 days in jail this summer because he put a bucket under his roof gutter downspout to catch water to use in his garden.

The authorities told him that ALL the water that falls on his property is under the control of the Federal Government.

Not the federal government, under control of the state, the "watermaster's" office. All surface water belongs to the state and now they want to control the wells by putting meters on them.

In Real Estate school I learned it has always been that when you buy property you own into space and to the center of the earth of your parcel. Now we only own into the center of the earth as our airspace rights have been taken from us. Now they want control of the minerals in the dirt beneath our feet.

I have asked the watermaster when as God gives it from heaven does the state take control of the rain?

This was the State, not the Feds.

He built retention ponds. He was not using a bucket.
