Allred & Boston Globe are moving to remove gag order on Stemberg Sullivan, and release Mitt Romney testimony.

Just as I thought. Romney provided expert testimony on a business valuation. It happens in every single divorce case where one party is the sole or part owner of a closely held business. The wife certainly had her own expert also testifying on the same subject. Such testimony consists of balance sheets, pro-formas and past and anticipated earnings. Unless you are an accountant (or one of the parties) it’s the most boring stuff you can imagine. This is a nothingburger.

I think the angle will be that the Staples guy was a real jerk, Romney helped the guy, therefore Romney is a real jerk.
You know, another thing that cracks me up here is that Gloria and this ex wife twit are going back to unseal divorce papers so they can try to speak to Mitt Romney’s character. So I guess now the whole country is supposed to sit and listen to this dirty laundry crap about two people we don’t care about and make snap judgments about Romney.
By doing this, it is a loud siren as to characters of Gloria Allred and this woman. Many of Gloria’s fellow attorneys hate her because she is a lowlife.
Today she is proving them correct in assessing her character.
Beware. Allred is scum but isnt stupid. I doubt she would waste her time if there wasnt something about this divorce that makes Romney look really bad. On the bright side it looks like new info on Obama’s lies on Libya should cancel out anything bad on Romney.

I agree with this in principle. I’m only saying we are dealing with absolutely horrible people here. Allred has something bigger in mind that what the sealed documents say. In my opinion it’s really about the gag order, and all of the “new information” Allred and her client can provide if it’s lifted. They can say absolutely anything. What difference does the truth mean to them?
DU’ers think this a false flag thing, a plot by Romney to have the MSM cover it and it purposely backfire and further erode their credibility. Seriously this is even less than I thought, no wonder Glorida Alled was not out hyperventilating, its less than a non issue, no story, no legs and nothing to see here. This thread should be locked.

During depositions, he revealed that their were some errors in the proceeding filings (I do not recall the details), which meant the claim would be thrown out on a technicality. Allred’s client would lose.
When this became obvious, Allred left the meeting, almost immediately, leaving an assistant to clean up the remains.
The substance of the clients claim was valid (as related to one of the named defendants), but the error made the case a loser. Allred bailed and left the women hanging.
