INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Indiana stepped between women and their physicians when it enacted a law that blocked Medicaid funds for Planned Parenthood just because the organization provides abortions, a federal appeals court ruled Tuesday.

The ruling by the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago effectively upheld decisions by a district judge and a Medicaid review panel that found the 2011 law denied patients the right to choose their own health care provider.

Or Planned Parenthood could take “charity” cases.

Arrest the Judge and put him in Prison for Usurping the Rights of a Free and Independent State in direct violation of the US Constitution. No Judge has the Authority to “Order” a State to do anything. Read the damn constitution, it says Very clearly and plainly what the Fed has authority over and HEALTHCARE aint in there.

I've tried, oh how I've tried to understand liberal "thinking.

A "private" organization like PP, MUST be funded by the public.

However a "private" organization like the Boy Scouts MUST have any and all public funds cut, because they believe in things liberals don't like.

And it's OK to BAN them from even using public property. Because the public pays for it.

And even if a publically owned parcel of land is sold to a private entity, so that a 70 year old Cross can simply exist on it, the Cross MUST be torn down.

Not subsidized, not just left alone, must be DESTROYED.

I strongly favor ending the corporate income tax. I believe that would make it much more likely that accurate economics comes into play as to evaluating investments and the payoff from investment.

The current tax structure gives a major tax break to individuals for capital gains income exactly because that income has already been taxed once via the corporate tax. It makes sense that if the corporate tax goes away, the CG structure should also, again, to yield the best market valuation of investments.

I can live without corporate income taxes as long as we also are not handing out money to GM and Solyndra anymore or any type of subsidies, even agricultural.

“Read the damn constitution, it says Very clearly and plainly what the Fed has authority over and HEALTHCARE aint in there.”

Didn’t our good friend Justice Roberts recently rule to the contrary?

Can’t blame the ol’ rascal; why, it’s hard to get into those Beltway cocktail parties without your thirty pieces of silver...

“Nope, he decided it was a Tax.”

Yes, but isn't upholding obamacare as Constitutional, even if the penalty assessments are deemed a ‘tax’, tantamount to ruling that the Feds have the authority to virtually control healthcare?

Solution: A Fedgov reduced to its Constitutional duties ONLY. Then PP would automatically never receive one thin dime of gov money. Much evil fruit would wither on the vine.

You have a point there, but I thought they also said States were free to not participate, either way this is why I have always been in favor of impeaching Judges and yes even Roberts for finding Magical Meanings in the PLAIN LANGUAGE of the US CONSTITUTION. But we have nothing but Whimps and Quislings in Congress.

I think they should be sued for false advertising. Should be called Baby Butchering Inc. since you need a baby to be a parent.
