A similar outcome happened to an elderly friend's daughter a few years ago at the intersection of Cadieux and Outer Drive on Detroit's east side.

She was coming home from work at about 11:30 p.m. and was stopped at the stop light there.

Two black guys started walking up to her car and when she saw that one of them had a handgun in his hand, she took off but not before he shot at her.

It went thru her open drivers side window, missing her head and lodged in the support panel between the front and back seat on the passenger side........It was an apparent attempted carjacking.

I was happy to see the state Attorney General on the news this morning refusing to use the word “sniper” because he equates it to someone with dedicated skill, worthy of respect. This is a criminal, period.

Sure. We all know clean shaven white guys never shoot at other people. I can’t think of one single instance of a clean shaven white guy even trying to kill someone else.

Not in this case since it was random shootings from one vehicle, (late model mustang) at other passing vehicles. Shooter would have no knowledge of who was in the target vehicles.........

This worries me - my daughter lives in Livingston county and my nephew will be driving through that area on his way from West Michigan back to Maryland. I hope they catch this guy REAL soon!

Interesting though that a spate of “shootings” is all over the national drive by news right after Obama broaches his support for reinstating an assault weapons ban.
The drive-by’s ignore stories of nearly the same amount of shootings on a daily basis in Obama’s home town though.
