DNC takes out $10 million loan while RNC has $83 million in bank

Talk about a mismatch. The RNC will be able to help out many marginal campaigns with that $83 million while Dems will have to pick and choose carefully which races they will invest in.

Politico:

The Democratic National Committee was unable to keep up with the Republican National Committee's fundraising again in September, despite taking out $10.5 million in loans.

The DNC raised $20.3 million in September, including the loans, and only $3.7 million of its total fundraising came from individuals and political action committees. The rest came from transfers and offsetting operating expenditures.

As of Sept. 30, the DNC reported having $4.6 million in the bank and $20.5 million in total debt - almost double the $11.8 million it owed at the end of August. The committee owes about $5.5 million of its total debt to creditors for services such as direct mail consulting, polling expenses and event consulting.

The RNC by comparison announced it raised $48.4 million in September and had a whopping $82.6 million in its reserves.

"While we continue to put money into our ground game and fully fund our absentee ballot, early vote and Election Day GOTV efforts in all our battleground states, our historic cash on hand figure also allows us to continue funding our independent expenditure committee, run highly effective hybrid ads and assist in electing Republicans across the country at all levels," said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus.

That GOTV effort will come in handy. The Obama campaign's ground game far exceeds Romney's in the number of state offices and volunteers. This is why many observers still give the president a good chance in Virginia as well as Ohio.

Nice to see that they are as stupid with their wallet as well as ours.

What they ran out of illegal Chinese and Muslim Brotherhood donations?

How can they be ahead in the polls and not be able to get donations.

This is pretty lopsided in spite of Obama pissing away money like it was water.

Remember how cocky the Dems were just a month ago? And now they're in the depths of despair.

All that money gone and they peaked, crashed and burned after the first debate. And now they're borrowing more for a lost cause, which will never be paid back.

Tsk tsk...

I wonder how bad it will get when the democratic “volunteers” figure out they might not get PAID!

I believe early voting in Maryland starts about a week early.

When the doors open I will be there.

For the first time in my 70 years voting a straight Republican ticket and voting against every referendum.

Pity the vendors who expect to be paid for services rendered. The Dems have a history of fleecing small businesses after the election. There are vendors who are still waiting for payment from the ‘08 campaign. Let the provider beware.

Every vendor should require payment in advance. These Dem deadbeats always think someone else has to pay for their benefit.

Straight ticket voting should be the rule this year. A few scoundrels may slip in because of it, but it will be worth it to have Harry Reid booted from his leadership post in the Senate. House Dems should be further decimated and rendered useless by a tsunami of GOP wins, as well.

Nice to see that the Blue Blood Country Club Banker faction of the Washingtonians knows how to raise a buck, as opposed to the crummy Marxist Faction of the Washingtonians, who are busy taking out loans they will probably default on.

“Nice to see that they are as stupid with their wallet as well as ours.”

Put another way: who would want to trust the nation’s finances to a man who cannot even keep his political campaign under budget even in the face of record-setting levels of donations?

"Those of us who are supporting the enemy with our tax dollars"

And by being consumers of their products (Hollwood, for ex.).

The Kenyan must go.

Drudge links to an report that the Obama campaign just borrowed $15 million from BOA.

They’ve mismanaged their campaign funds as badly as they have our tax dollars.

Spending millions of dollars on such stupid ads as :

“Romney gave the man’s wife cancer”

“Romney will kill Big Bird”

“Romney does not care about women”

“Romney will take away your right to contraception”

isn’t going to work and is simply throwing good money away.

BOA was the mortgage holder for many of the foreclosures listed in our community paper. Some dragged out for months to over a year or more. Now new Freddie loans. BOA was a bailout wasn’t it? I smell a rat. It just isn’t right.
