I'm convinced that within 10-20 years we will get to the point where the people in the best position in America will be those who don't have a Social Security number.

There is poor financially and poor spiritually. We are making ourselves poor spiritually.

I receive social security and am on Medicare. SS makes up about a third of my income because I still work. Ibelieve that in order for the USA to survive as the economic engine ơf the world and the guarantor of the sea lanes and thus world trade we have to fix it economically which requires all entitlements- the very concept of entitlements- to be scrapped and that includes SS and Medicare and Medicaid and EBT etc. et al and so on. It also requires the termination of just about all the departments and agencies of the federal government back to the original 4 Cabinet Departments. This applies especially to EPA and both DOEs.
Actually we may be too late because we have several generations of public school students with no knowledgge of history or civics or much else that is real. These people are easily swayed y utopias and nostrums because they have no intellectual ground to evaluate what is possible and what is impossible, what is ethical, moral etc.
