INTERIOR DEPT. CREATES CLIMATE CHANGE COMMITTEE

The Obama administration is creating an advisory committee on climate change to advise the federal government on future operations.

The Interior Department announced the new bureaucracy in a recent federal registry notice along with a call for nominations by Nov. 19 to seat the 25-member board.

The notice specifically states membership will be comprised of state and local government employees, non-governmental organizations, Native American tribes, academia, individual landowners and business interests.

“In addition, the committee may include scientific experts, and will include rotating representation from one or more of the institutions that host the (Interior Department) Climate Science Centers,” the notice said.

The climate centers were created to provide scientific information to help land, water, wildlife and cultural resource managers to monitor and adapt to climate change on regional and local levels.

The National Climate Change and Wildlife Science Center will serve the scientific needs of managers of fish, wildlife, habitats, and ecosystems as they plan for a changing climate.

The new committee will be chosen by Interior Secretary Ken Salazar and will meet two to four times a year. Federal lobbyists need not apply, and government employees will be required to file an annual financial disclosure report.

The committee will advise on a national strategy to identify “key science priorities to advance management of natural resources in the face of climate change.”

Advice will also be given on how to ensure high standards of scientific quality and integrity, and the committee will evaluate the performance of the climate science centers.

Even MORE "Job Creation", SEIU Membership increases, handouts to donors in the form of "Grants to study Climate Change", and other assorted bullshit.

As I've said, from now until January, The Messiah is gonna screw us as often as possible, and SPEND as much Taxpayer/Borrowed money as he can.

As it becomes more obvious that Obama will lose the election we’ll see more of these poison pills set up by the Executive branch. These will form the political fodder for future campaigns.

Romney would be wise to undo these immediately.

I’m waiting for this administration to start a “mole” committee.

No not a mole like a spy but a mole like one of those things tearing up my lawn.

For moles do not like the Prophet Mohammed and I want those heathans in the middle east to do something about it. They should riot and stomp across the planet to scare those horrible Mohammed-hating moles down to the center of the earth.

So I’m starting the rumor, please pass it on.

MOLES HATE THE PROPHET MOHAMMED!!!

Good, we can use their office to store the wrecking bars and stuff when we start dismantling the non-value-added parts of federal gummint.

It’s easy to see what’s really going on here.
Interior regulates all coal mining in the US.

Undo it as soon as Mitt Romney is sworn in on Jan. 20 at noon. And fire at least half of this worthless government. let them all get a real job.

Didn’t they hear? Global warming has already ended. This is a waste of time and resources. History will record that Al Gore perpetrated one of the great hoaxes of all time.

I guess the commies in our government didn’t get the memo: The Earth’s temperature has not risen at all in the last 16 years!

What a waste of taxpayer dollars!

Cheers

IMHO Romney needs to:

* Combine Interior, Energy and the EPA and rename it the Dept of Resource Management.
* Fire 1/3 to 1/2 and go from 3 management teams to one.
* Co-locate in one building.
* The Focus of the New Dept will be to review all laws and regulations of the last 20 years (if not more) and they have to be justifed via their cost effectiveness as the primary driver...

I'd say that would be a good start...

“It’s easy to see what’s really going on here.

That wasn’t so obvious to me. Thanks for shedding light on this.

This ‘science’ has been discredited already, has it not? Why can’t the Republicans either stop this or at least delay it until next January 21st?
