Telling video frame: Crowley shuts down "Fast & Furious" -- on command
dfmpolitics.com (Second Debate: Video and transcript) ^ | 17 OCT 2012 | Crowley & Obama vs Romney

Posted on 10/17/2012 3:23:58 PM PDT by TXnMA

ROMNEY: The — the greatest failure we’ve had with regards to — to gun violence in some respects is what — what is known as Fast and Furious. Which was a program under this administration, and how it worked exactly I think we don’t know precisely, where thousands of automatic, and AK-47 type weapons were — were given to people that ultimately gave them to — to drug lords.

They used those weapons against — against their own citizens and killed Americans with them. And this was a — this was a program of the government. For what purpose it was put in place, I can’t imagine. But it’s one of the great tragedies related to violence in our society which has occurred during this administration. Which I think the American people would like to understand fully, it’s been investigated to a degree, but — but the administration has carried out executive privilege to prevent all of the information from coming out.

I’d like to understand who it was that did this, what the idea was behind it, why it led to the violence, thousands of guns going to Mexican drug lords. OBAMA: Candy?

CROWLEY: Governor, Governor, if I could, the question was about these assault weapons that once were once banned and are no longer banned.

Romney stops speaking and turns away in disgust, and Øbozo grins like a possum -- because his obedient, overfed, trained attack spaniel has leaped to his rescue -- at his command.

Bias? What bias...?

</sarcasm>

I did a search for all occurrences of "OBAMA: Candy" in the transcript and...

Listening to the debate with the marked-up transcript in hand makes it pretty obvious that "Candy" from Øbozo -- while Romney was speaking -- was a genuine, pre-arranged "dog whistle" meaning that Crowley should interrupt Romney...

"Collusion" is the mildest term I can come up with to describe that perfidy...

~~~~~~~
Anyone know how we can get this in the hands of Rush or Levin for tomorrow's show prep?
Do you remember the applause at this point?
The audience had been instructed not to applaud during the debate, but applause did happen here.
And guess who initiated it?
FLOTUS did it.
As if FLOTUS would really remember the exact wording of that speech ..... unless the whole lot of them had been discussing that wording directly prior to the debate.
FLOTUS played her part by making it appear the audience was behind Obama.
I could not agree more. As far as getting in touch with Rush, I think he has 'Premium' site members that can get his attention through his channels. I may be mistaken but I believe that Kaslin is one. I have pinged him to this post.
Listen closely. I have several times. For a brief moment their were 2 or 3 that were clapping. There was only one set of hands that kept on clapping. Those belong to MO.
I would like to say more about it but I really need to shut up.
I couldn’t share the stage with that thing without a few “Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters!”
This thread: Telling video frame: Crowley shuts down "Fast & Furious" -- on command appears to be a companion piece to your thread on collusion between Øbozo and Crowley on Benghazi...
Candy?!? (You know that you’ve been warned not to let him go there!)
A talented artist should photoshop a picture of Obama in a wife-beater telling Candy to make him a sandwich.
Why do you really need to shut up?
My guess is this scenario was actually role played during debate prep.
Crowley knew what Obama and she were saying wasn’t true. Because she had challenged Axelrod on TV on Sept 30th, accusing them of talking about the video for 2 weeks, when they knew it was terrorism. In the end, this helps Romney, because it keeps the issue alive. Maybe Romney didn’t get to make the death blow in the debate. But this issue is not about Romney, so it won’t hurt him . And he gets a chance to be much more clear in the next debate. And frankly, foreign policy isn’t going to determine the next president anyway, All about the economy.
And the real damaging part of the Libya exchange was when Romney talked about Obama going on a fundraiser in Vegas the day after. That was devastating.
Thank you! It's about time FR did another bit of campaign-changing activism!
BTW, Ernest_at_the_Beach's work on the Bengazi collusion deserves to be publicized, as well... (See # 48...)
"I also think Crowley's now-infamous "save" of Obama, over the Benghazi question, was possibly evidence of collusion between Crowley and the Obama campaign. I mean, how did it happen that Crowley just happened to have a hard copy of the transcript of Obama's speech in her hot little hand -- at the very moment Obama demanded, "check the transcript"? And how did Crowley plough through thousands of words in the transcript to find the word "terror" in there, within about one second? "
I have this same question: How could Candy possibly "check the transcript" if the transcript wasn't already positioned for her to do so?
Collusion? Not necessarily! Worse. American Communists didn’t have to collude with the Soviets. Some did, some didn’t. It was and is a matter of faith. Sweet Candy might have anticipated Romney’s line against her god, it wasn’t that hard to do, and she prepared, entirely out of her own free will to respond.
An acquaintance who defected years ago from the Soviet block, told me how the teachers there were forced under the gun to teach falsified history. They did and some of them sometimes winked at their students. The man could not believe that teachers in America, a free country, would do the same and do it voluntarily. As I said, worse, much worse.
