Mitt Romney was right.

Barack Obama was wrong.

And now, after journo-tool/moderator Candy Crowley jumped to Obama’s aid in front of millions of viewers, CNN is admitting that her fact-check was not kinda, sorta, no completely “cut and dry” factual.

READ:

CNN walks back false “act of terror” fact check.

How’s that crow tasting, lapdogs?

IF THERE WAS EVER ANY DOUBT, IN ANYONE'S MIND, ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT THERE IS BIAS IN THE MEDIA IN FAVOR OF OBAMA AND THE DEMOCRATS, THAT DOUBT SHOULD HAVE BEEN OBLITERATED LAST NIGHT BY CANDY CROWLEY...........

Blessing in disguise thanks to bon bon. What Obama did and didn't say and the administrations shuckin’ and jivin’ on Libya will be thoroughly exposed in the next debate.

“In the debate Obama said, “As soon as I was notified of the attack in progress, I was on the phone with my National Security Team.”.

This has never been mentioned before.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
I noticed that immediately also. Why hasn’t a single journalist picked up on that? In fact, this past Sunday, Axelrod refused to answer that question.
BTW: Comment from a reader in the Malkin article:
And if you think the bias was bad in English–my Mexican born Wife came in from a church meeting after the live debate was over. She and I watched it on one of the Mexican T.V. channels–the debate had been translated into El Espanol.
***
She noted that Romney didn’t speak much at all compared to President Obama’s time.
I noted that most of Romney’s time had been edited and the translation cut out his most damaging statements on the economy and the Libyan debacle! Selective editing and out of context work at it’s finest. She couldn’t believe that there was only 3 minutes difference in the 90 minute total time in the live event.
The translated event lasted less than an hour.
Apology for being wrong with a Benghazi fact-check is one thing, but it is the minor apology.
The major apology issued by Candy Crowley should be for “entering the debate”. Had she said, “Gov Romney, your time’s up.”, then it would have been related to process.
However, she — the moderator — got involved in the debate itself, commenting on the words of one candidate to his detriment and to the benefit of the other. She, the referee, decided to tackle the guy who had the ball. That isn’t just wrong about facts. It is unprofessional, and one can even argue , since she was wrong in her correction, that her intervention was unethical.
Excellent catch.
This point needs to be widely disseminated.
They are in more trouble on this issue than the media thinks.
Romney got Bambi to double down on his lie to the world in a moment destined for some marvelous ads, plus what Crowley did will focus a lot of attention on this issue. It's stark black and white, Bambi lied, the ambassador died. Bambi went to Vegas while the coffins were full. He lied for almost two weeks, 6 times in front of the UN.
This is BIG trouble for the democrat/media complex.
That isn’t just wrong about facts. It is unprofessional, and one can even argue , since she was wrong in her correction, that her intervention was unethical.
You are assuming that Crowley and her ilk have the capacity to even spell the words "professional", or "ethics", let alone are posesses of the slightest molecule of said qualities. That is an assumption I, myself, am unwilling at this juncture to make...
CNN’s Crowley and company eat crow on Benghazi water-carrying for Obama
From the look of Crowley, there's not much she won't eat, but she successfully protected her boy by "conveniently" getting the facts wrong and making Mitt look bad in the process. How many of the people watching are going to bother to find out that she retracted her statement? The damage is done, but it should serve two purposes:
1. Be better prepared for the leftists moderators and;
2. In Monday's debate hit 0bama often and hard on this and the other countless foreign policy failures and specifically point out that Crowley lied to protect him!
0bama showed in this debate he's not above the street punk chi-town tactics and has absolutely no class, so be prepared!
She threw the flag, tackled the ball carrier, then awarded the ball to the other team......
Well said.
I thought this was the line big gaff by Obama. It seems to be going under the radar.
QUESTION: We were sitting around, talking about Libya, and we were reading and became aware of reports that the State Department refused extra security for our embassy in Benghazi, Libya, prior to the attacks that killed four Americans.
Obama:So as soon as we found out that the Benghazi consulate was being overrun, I was on the phone with my national security team and I gave them three instructions. Number one, beef up our security and procedures, not just in Libya, but at every embassy and consulate in the region.
The question was about reports that the ambassador had requested extra security in the past and it had not been provided. Obama admits he didn't provide extra security until after the attack took place (and the ambassador was dead). Literally closing the barn door after the horse had escaped.
Obama never did answer the question about why security wasn't beef up previous to the attack, at the time the ambassador requested it.
It appeared to be a set-up. Candy whipped out the transcript a little too fast - Obama said something like - Candy show the transcript - .say it again Candy - she did both times.
““In the debate Obama said, “As soon as I was notified of the attack in progress, I was on the phone with my National Security Team.”.
It was also mentioned, either here or at the Treehouse, that a communications officer was on the phone from a consulate building, with the embassy AND Washington, during the attack!
