HEY MITT! Expect, From Obama, These Four Things At the Debate Tonight!(October 16, 2012)
Original Content | October 16, 2012 | By Laz A. Mataz

Mitt Romney and Barack Obama debate again tonight, this October the 16th, 2012. After the sound trouncing Mitt delivered to the President, we can expect that Mr. Obama will alter his approach. Here is what to look for:

  1. Numerous interruptions and flagrant breaking of debate rules by Barack Obama. Barack certainly watched with interest as Joe Biden interrupted, talked over Mr. Ryan, sneered, laughed, mocked, and got angry. Those behaviors played very poorly with independents and especially with women -- most of who have dated, or even married, a man who behaved like this. Those behaviors, however, played very well with the far-left liberal base. Since the Pravda Press is mostly composed of that far-left brand of American, the written reviews the next day were glowingly in favor of Biden. Barack noticed that. Further, the Town Hall format this evening lends itself well to "planned but spontaneous" interruptions. The only indicator that this won't be tolerated seemed to come from Candy Crowley, the moderator, who declared that she will play a much more active and aggressive role in controlling the content of the discussion, and possibly the behavior of the candidates. Too, there is a chance that Obama will overplay this tactic.

  2. There will be attempt by Obama to overwhelm Mitt with accusations, many brand new, and all certifiably false. Joe Biden showed Obama that lying outright, and being wrong about the facts, are winning strategies with the Pravda Press, since they simply will not call a Democrat out about lying about their record (as when Joe Biden claimed he voted against the Iraq and the Afghanistan wars) or when they are wrong on the facts (as when Joe Biden asserted that the Syrian situation differs from the Libyan one 'because Syria is five times as large as Libya'). Barack Obama now feels free to lie outright, knowing that no one in the so-called "mainstream" media will whisper a word about it.

  3. A return of the infamous middle finger along the jaw (the F*** YOU gesture). This gesture has long been a staple of Barack's not-very-subtle body language, and it is intended to show 'cool', to get the audience on his side, and unnerve his opponent. Mitt Romney would do well to directly (though briefly) mention and criticize this gesture. It will regain the upperhand on 'cool', and it will put Obama on a defensive.

  4. Obama will be answering any charge made by Mitt Romney, not with an answer, but an ignoring of the question and the making of numerous counter-charges. Barack has long known that the best defense is an aggressive offense, and since the "mainstream media" will not call him on anything whatsoever, why defend against an accusation? Simply ignore it and attempt to overwhelm your opponent with numerous countercharges. This has been his method of governance: He overwhelms the system with many dozens of far-left, America-harming initiates, hoping that a few make it through. His debate performance tonight will mirror his governance.

Here is what Barack Obama fails to understand, though: The American populace, who began turning towards Mitt Romney, did not do so because Obama was passive. They did not do so because Romney debated well and with great skill. THEY TURNED TO MITT ROMNEY BECAUSE THE ROMNEY THE MEDIA HAD PAINTED, IN NO WAY RESEMBLED THE ROMNEY THEY SAW AT THE DEBATE.

This is the key. This is the response to most of this, except perhaps the planned interruptions. Mitt Romney merely needs to show America, once again, he is not a corporation-eating, people-hating Republican Monster. That is all they seek. Most of us know Obama has been horrible for America, but the Pravda Press had painted Mitt Romney as an unacceptable alternative to a known failure. Mitt needs to assure us, as he did last time, that he is not what the press declares.

You raise 4 excellent points. But I'll comment on #1.

I don't trust Ms. Crowly. Not at all. I fully expect Gov. Romney will have to engage not only Nobama, but will have to fight an uphill battle against a very biased moderator. Nobama had a 4 minite time advantage in the last debate. I wonder what type of advantages he'll get tonight?

True. But do not underestimate any man, lest you fall before him. Remember, OTrauma has actually been practicing this time.

I sure wish I could get this essay in front of Mitt's closest people.

Or even Mitt himself.

It would be wonderful ju-jitsu for Mitt to defend Hillary

Brilliant. A good point I missed... although, in my defense, I was focusing on what I perceived Obama will be doing.

obama will boil it down to:

1) You lie.
2) You hate.
3) Still Bush’s fault.
4) I need more time.

The problem for the moderators here, is that — seemingly — they are somewhat hesitant to appear overly biased. If Crowley follows in this trend, I expect no overt problem from her. A subtle one, to be sure, but nothing overt.

Thanks ... middle finger prep underway. Hiring a little girl to break zer0’s kneecaps, if he does it (middle finger) cause this is a job a little girl could do. No need for a big burly type guy.

When the bodies of the murdered Americans were being flown from Lybia to the USAF morgue at Dover, Delaware , Obama had the plane diverted to Andrews AFB for a photo op in a hanger set up for the media with black hearses and flag draped caskets.

I'd like to know if the families of the murdered Americans were left waiting in Dover, or if he had the courtesy to fly them to Andrews to witness the staged memorial.

lol... but on a serious tip, see my #15. This would be Romney’s “There you go again...” moment.

Good idea Laz... that would work...

Personally I don’t care what The Disaster does or does not do, it won’t matter. The Bubble has burst.

Romney could be awakened at four in the morning from a deep sleep, dead drunk and destroy this A-hole on any subject of import.

The next two debates are going to be even BIGGER disasters than the first.

Crowley asserts she will play it more neutrally. .... and in her defense, she tends to be more of a serious journalist than most. Further, CNN, her home, has gone quite neutral lately... almost like they are eyeing the demographic (right-of-center Americans) that Fox seems to be abandoning.

You must know about the Mormon Family, it's the rock on which the Mormon Church is built. Mormon leaders do nothing better than demonstrate stability and security. All Mitt needs to do is remain above the pettiness of the new and artificially energized Obama.

Remember with me fondly, the Gipper. When Ronaldus Magnus weathered a plethora of outrageous attacks upon his tax reduction deregulation styled economy. 'Now, there you go again' In that fatherly and patient cadence, which spoke so loudly to this country that all the people fell in love with him.

Time to take out the trash Mitt

Romney should wait until Obama's givin' the finger several times so it can be shown the next day that it wasn't 'nothing'. Remember, Romney's up against Obmaa, Candy, and the CNN production crew...

"Mister President, if I had an employee who just shot me the middle finger like you just did, I would fire him on-the-spot. Perhaps America needs to fire YOU!"

Perfect! I do hope he tries it. Hey Romney campaign, this is the perfect shot back. Candy would faint, the crowd would roar and everyone in their living rooms would stand up and cheer!

I see that as giving the audience four more minutes to comprehend what a truly empty jerk he is.

Well, to be fair, I know NOTHING of Mormons. I know know of leaders, and of honor, though. As an oft-hired CEO, Romney has leadership skills, and as a Christian (a Mormon one), he is likely to have honor.

Mitt, CALL OBAMA OUT ON EACH AND EVERY DIVERSIONARY LIE. If this debate being staged in favor of 0bama IS TOO OBVIOUS, this will backfire on 0bama. Mitt needs to CALL THE MEDIA OUT FOR PROTECTING OBAMA. State the OBVIOUS.
