Deval shoots down absentee slam amid latest FDA warning

Even as Gov. Deval Patrick was brushing off criticism he’s been off stumping for President Obama amid the state drug lab scandal and the deadly meningitis outbreak traced to a state licensed pharmacy, the FDA warned yesterday that other drugs produced by the Framingham compounding company could be tainted with the lethal disease.

Good grief!

I’ve long thought that the way to a healthy long life is to avoid visiting doctors as much as possible.

I think you're on to something.

People in 15 states (so far) have been killed by a contaminated treatment for back pain originating from a single lab in MA. I bet a lot of people will decide to suck it up and endure the pain now that the lack of oversight and quality assurance has been exposed.
