I would say this finishes any residual presidential ambitions she might have.

Responsibility for WHAT exactly? Lack of security? That IS her responsiblity. Coming up with the false video meme? Susan Rice running around spouting off days later? Hussein spouting off about the video at the UN? Leaving the consulate unsecure so CNN ends up with Stevens journal? Inability of FBI to get in and investigate? And the beat goes on ......
She must have been reminded of something she hoped they'd forget.

I think you are spot-on, but it would make obama seem even more amateur if Romney were to bring it up and barry were to say; “uh sorry uh Mitt, but uh, the Secretary of uh State already copped to that, so it’s not my fault as I said from the uh beginning. Yes I know I blamed it on the video, but that was before Hillary fell on the sword for me.”
