Climate Change Propaganda Breeds Addiction

The psychology of propaganda is very clever. Think about what makes you want to do something or buy something. And think about the psychology of people who want to make themselves feel good about something. What makes a person feel good? And if doing that something is running around telling everyone to buy a smaller house on a smaller lot, get out of their cars, or cut their heat down, what made them feel good about that? If someone feels good about the 1.5 gallon toilet they own that needs flushing 2 or 3 times, do they can go about their daily lives with their ego on cloud nine? Or if they think they are saving the planet by using the inferior light from a CFL… all the better, right? And if someone feels really, really good and superior to other human beings for doing such things, is that addictive?

What causes addiction? Usually it is something that a person does that makes him or her feel, at least temporarily, totally wonderful! (Sex addiction, alcohol addiction, drug addictions, etc.) So how do you get an entire population of scientific numbskulls addicted to a flawed science that will make them do whatever you want them to do? Propaganda. Indoctrination. Money. Behavioral manipulation. Positive or punitive responses. (Pavlov’s dog)

At any given moment, any part of the world is warmer, cooler, wetter, drier, or experiencing more or less tornadic activity than average. Has tree hugger ever consider that maybe it's G-D-made climate change going on?

This propaganda doesn’t really work (especially when times are tough); Americans would be more than happy to fuel our cars on DoDo birds and carrier pigeons if it would cost less than $4 per gallon to do so.

The environmentalist movement is designed so that people who have turned their back on traditional religion and values can still feel like they are contributing to a long-term goal in this country (and this world) - even Hitler was a vegetarian animal lover.

The environmental movement is composed of saps who don’t realize they are being used by those who seek power over everything.... the power to obtain massive wealth and redistribute wealth as they see fit. The movement is supported by academia that continue to sell the proof. The lie is promoted by a media firmly tied to academia, tied to the religion of humanism, and marching in lockstep with the Godless idea of liberalism.

Environmentalism has become the new communism.

Just so you know what you are up against. . . I sent my son the article showing the past 16 years have been cooler, in an ongoing effort to show him this hoax and in response he sent me a cartoon of a “Climate Summit” where someone in the audience says: “What if its a big hoax and we create a better world for nothing?”
And on stage the presenter is pointing to this list of items: energy independence, preserve rainforests, sustainability, green jobs, livable cities, renewables, clean water, air, healthy children, etc. etc.

I wrote back to him: To state it less visually and more succintly: “At least the trains run on time.”

There is a set of people who are totally in the tank for this stuff and to them it doesn’t matter if it is real or not. Alas, I am related to many of them. But I still try.

Tell him if he doesn’t bury his car, he’s just part of the problem. If he doesn’t bury it, just remind him he’s a hipocrite (sp?) every time he brings the subject up!

We may be getting ready to see a time when these delusions, mostly a product of rich leftists, will give way to reality as our nation is “cleansed” of it’s weath by the government “takers.”

He rides his bike, takes public transportation, etc. It is PORTLAND, so total brainwashing. Not only that, he was married to a woman who had an all star ACLU lawyer for a mother, whose brother went to Obama’s inauguration, who is such a fan of Noam Chomsky that she gave me the gift of his book, (when I opened it, I said, this better be a book about linguistics), and that is just the tip of the iceberg. The good news is the marriage is in past tense: WAS married and he has/had a logical brain, has read and understood Atlas Shrugged, and has some determined parents. So there is some hope. But wow, the brainwashing is so extensive and I don’t know if people realize how deep into it some otherwise kind of normal people really are. Sort of scary. We need a support group of us to think of ways to reel these grown children back out of their hypnotic states.
