Egypt’s al-Gama’a al-Islamiyya – or Islamic Group – is warning it could use violence as a means to ensure Sharia law is adopted in the latest draft of the country’s constitution and is calling on Egyptians to wage “jihad and fight in support of Sharia.”
This call was made by Mohamed Salah, the leader of the group which the U.S. designates as a terrorist organization. Al-Gama’a al-Islamiyya’s spiritual leader was the blind Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman who is imprisoned in the U.S. for his role in blowing up the World Trade Center in New York in February 1993 and for plotting to assassinate then Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.

Glad to see the Arab Spring is helping to bring Egypt in the 21st century. Of course, if these people get their way, the 22nd century could look a lot like the Dark Ages.
It’s well past time for us to eliminate our reliance on the middle east for crude, or anything else for that matter.
We need an aggressive domestic development effort. First, get the damnable EPA out of the way, along with BLM and OSHA.
Second, let the domestic producers produce.
Third, tell the ME islamo-nut-jobs to pound their damn sand.
I’ve written it before, and will write it again. A doctrine of quarantine is the most reasonable solution. Keep trade, cut immigration and most travel, encourage emmigration from the west to islamic states for muslims, and live seperate lives in peace.

Yeah, ya see...sharia is such a swell and just law system that you MUST USE FORCE to get it made the "law" of what is left of the Egyptian civilization.
