Because everyone had such a great time at the last shoot we are anxious for the next one.
The date for the 8th Annual TCMS shoot will be June 8th, 2013 and will be held at Dietz Gun Shop and Shooting Range, in New Braunfels, TX. Providing we get the OK from Mr. Dietz – I will call him this week to discuss our coming to the range.
Staying in the Pelican Bay cottages this year was a stroke of genius, so we will again be staying in cottages. The cottage pick for this shoot is the Cypress Creek Cottages, in Wimberley, TX. There are only twelve cottages at this place, and as of this writing 7 of them have been reserved. NOTE: They require full payment at the time the reservations are made. Wimberley also has some very nice hotels in the area in the event all the cottages get rented.
Making it a three & a half day weekend will be the plans for many of us, that way we can enjoy the area and have lots of porch time.
The Friday night dinner & Saturday breakfast places have not yet been decided. There is still plenty of time to figure out those details. Saturday after the shoot lunch will be provided by our own chef ~ cpdiii (Thanks Charlie!). Suggestions for the Saturday night meal are more than welcome.

Hope that is one of my every other Fridays off. But even if it’s not, I can make New Braunfalls/Wimberly by midnight/1AM, meaning I’ll miss the Friday Fun, but not the shoot. If it is, I’ll be there by mid afternoon on Friday.
Or, I may not have a job by then, in which case “no es una problema”, I’ve already got more ammo than I can shoot.. not too much ammo of course, since you can never have too much ammo.
Dangit, I knew I would forget something.
Last minute stuff makes me nervous. When I get nervous I get bitchy. Me bitchy is not a pretty sight.
Yeah, we all want to avoid that.
In fact there are two State laws about that and a couple more in review.

Well if my schedule does not change, big if, I should be off that weekend. Mrs alfa6 and I were discussing the cottages last night. Being finacialy conservative, meaning cheap, we will wait and see if any cottages are still left come spring.
The Mrs is doing better, the good news is that her mobility keeps improving. The bad news is that she has gotten almost no sleep since coming home last Monday. We think we finally figured it out last night. Tonight will tell the tale!
