Elizabeth Warren Claims Not to 'Know' Whether Union Members Were Fined for Not Supporting Her

Elizabeth Warren, the Massachusetts Democrat challenging Republican Scott Brown for the U.S. Senate, dodged questions about claims that a local union was fining its members for not publicly supporting her campaign. This week, Warren repeatedly told Boston's local FOX TV affiliate, "I don't know anything about" the possibility that union members were threatened with fines if they did not attend a debate and hold signs to support the Democrat. After being pressed about her thoughts on those allegations several times by the reporter, a visibly agitated Warren said that she is "very proud of the union endorsement" she's received.

Warren is, IMHO, typical of the ‘elite’ university crowd - above average intelligence, but not stellar, and often with limited creativity - all wrapped up in a package that is largely oblivious to the real world.

Where was the follow up question? After being questioned on those allegations and her answer was, I'm very proud of the Union's endorsement”, the next question should have been, Fine, but how do you feel about Union's shaking down their members to give money to witless lying politicians?

Hailing from the PR of MA, many of us can't help but laugh that all she has said all campaign is 'Millionaires, Billionaires, Big Oil' ... and some combination of filler words that indicate that's not why she's going to Washington.

If you watch the tape ... you'll see - it's a caricature of this observation. She does it twice.

You could say "Liz, what a fabulous dress!!!" and she'd say "No! look, I am proud of my record, and I'm not going to Washington to help the millionaires, billionaires, and big oil".
