Republican hopes to regain a majority in the Senate were given a boost by a recent U.S. Chamber of Commerce poll that show the tight race is led by their candidate.

Politico reports that Republican Linda McMahon leads Democrat Chris Murphy by 3 points in the Connecticut Senate race, 42 to 39, based on the Chamber poll of 600 likely voters. About 14 percent of poll participants claimed to remain undecided.

She has an excellent prospect of winning. This would be a major upset. She is not a conservative—nor is Scott Brown—but winning this seat will be a steal. I’m sending her $10 pronto. Both she and Brown are a huge step in the right direction compared to the moonbats they are running against.

If this is happening in Connecticut it speaks volumes about the numbers of those who, like us, feel that the country is in big trouble.

It’s a dead heat in CT.

McMahon needs to be at least 5 points up by election day to overcome the Bridgeport voter fraud machine.

What is it with you? This is Connecticut and not Texas. Do you have some deficiency with reality testing?

Look at South Dakota. Heitkamp, the Democrat who sounds more Republican than 90% of Republicans, has a real shot at winning that seat. Think the Democrats are unhappy about her being a “DINO”? No wonder they call us the “Stupid Party”. Welcome.

Sheesh.

So who is the true conservative who CT voters should be voting for? There are none. McMahon will, at the very least, be a vote to kick Harry Reid out of leadership in the Senate and will vote with the GOP more than a Dem CT senator.

Yes, she is a RINO. A pro-abort RINO.

However the alternative, Murphy, is a Dodd-like crook. Socialist, seeks favors from banks and in return gives them favorable legislation. And he’s young, so he’ll be around for a very long time. And he’s pro-abort too.

I think the best you could hope for in Connecticut is a RINO.

This is an excellent surrogate measure of Romney’s chances in CT. While I don’t think every vote for Linda is a vote for Mitt, I’m guessing there is a 90% correlation, and that means a very close race here in CT.

If you desire a vote on the repeal of Obamacare, then Mitch McConnell and not Harry Reid must be the majority leader.

If he remains as majority leader, Harry Reid will never agree to any dismantling of Obamacare, whether it is through reconciliation or any other parlimentary process.

Whichever party owns the majority owns the floor.

I don’t understand why people don’t understand this.

It will please me muchly if this woman wins. I’ll have to send her some $$ too, you’ve convinced me.

She’s a business woman, she clearly has determination to win so she’s not just playing around, she’s aware that there are people in this country who didn’t attend the Ivy League, and she’s put up with that crazy husband of hers all these years, so I’m sure she’ll be able to deal with the nuts in Congress.

“Think the Democrats are unhappy about her being a “DINO”?”

That was exactly their strategy that let them take control of the house in 2006, they ran conservative dems in districts where a candidate like that could win.

Clearly it worked very well.

Sadly for them, but happily for us, they’ve chased a lot of those people out via the pro-abortion Obamacare vote and by the general drift to the far left under the troika of Obama, Reid and Pelosi.

Let our side learn from both their success and their mistakes.

Your point is valid, as her opponent (Chris Murphy) and the DNC are going very negative now with their most recent ads.

After watching her take her dirty opponent to task with a terrific verbal smackdown, I’m sending $$ too.
