You can tell from watching her appear on shows like Jay Leno that Katy Perry is a pretty face with a wonderful voice but there isn’t much going on upstairs.

This was a fundraiser, not a government event.

Yes, it is somehow reassuring that Miss Perry has as good taste in politicians as she does in men. In addition to Mr. Brand, perhaps the most vile comedian in an age of vile comedians, there is Mr. John Meyer, a lout’s lout, and some obscure actor from the Sons of Anarchy, who after being released from prison for felonious assault on September 23, strangled to death his 81-year old land lady on September 28th, and then killed himself. Miss Perry, you know how to pick them.

You are offered to play in the Whitehouse you go for it Not me,not for that empty suit. There are some things that even *I* wouldn't do for money.I applauded long and loud when I heard that Tim Thomas was "too busy" to accompany his Bruin teammates to the White House after winning the Cup.Boston fell completely out of love with him thereafter which,I'll bet,he understood going in...which made it even more courageous,IMO.

Ok but don’t you just love those big blue eyes! I stand corrected, she did not perform at the WhiteHouse and yes she is a Hollywood bubblehead and Obot. I have always had a weakness for women with dark hair and green\blue eyes.

One should be honored to play for the (generic) President.

Politics aside, any performer would be honored to perform for a sitting president. Yeah, she’s a lefty. I really don’t care. I don’t care for her music, but she certainly can be excited and honored to perform for a sitting president.

Like tasting cheap wine: "derivative yet generic. Full of artificial ingredients and guaranteed to leave an unpleasant aftertaste. May cause liver distress and anal leakage at inopportune times."

Yeah, and she was honored to be married to Russell Brand for about a year.

Balderdash. This was a fundraiser for the re-election of the worst occupant of the Oval Office ever. There is no honor in such an action, it is a disgrace.

Does not bother me. everyone is entitled to support the candidate of their choice. As a matter of fact, this picture make me want to salute right back at her.
