Putting a little nitro in for fuel would be a hoot
Some of the work that model makers do is amazing, saw
a Ferrari car with a working v-12 on Utube that even
sounded correct.
Thousands of hours of work involved I imagine

Read the article and look at the pictures.
Hobbyists actually put these engines in RC vehicles and have a blast at it.

Would be cool to mount two of them, side by side, on a riding mower.

I’m not that impressed. My Honda SL 100 had more horses in 1970.

A little go-cart to terrorize the neighbors kids and cats!
To: SJSAMPLE
They must be huge R/C cars. I’ve only seen small ones. Guess I’m not in the loop.
To: Lurkina.n.Learnin
probably didn’t cost $6000 either.
To: ImJustAnotherOkie
Totally useless, but I want one!

Some RC cars are built out of common go-carts and use actual gasoline engines. Size varies significantly, with one camp wanting to make them as small as possible and others expanding both size and HP.

No it didn’t cost $6000. Had tires and wheels, shocks. Was a blast right out of the box.

The 2.4L V8's in F1 cars make around 800hp, which is over 300hp per liter. And that's normally aspirated and rev _limited_ to 18,000rpm's. They'd be back over 20k rpm again if not limited like they were back in the V10 years.
