An 18-year-old Keokuk man has been acquitted for shooting another man while trying to protect his mother during an argument this summer.
The Hawk-Eye reports ( http://bit.ly/OxwQpF) a jury found Colton Dobson not guilty on Thursday after a three-day trial. He had been charged with willfully injuring 27-year-old Tim Mondon with a shotgun on July 14.

I’m surprised it took the jury that long to reach a decision. Probably no one with a son.
Not surprising, really. This is after all the state that keeps sending dungheap Harkin back to Washington as their senator.
And didn’t your state give us the wonderful Al Gore?
Pot meet kettle?
If you actually followed ‘the’ election which Gore lost to Bush, you would note that Tennessee did not vote for algoron, thus he lost because he could not carry what your liberal media called ‘his home state’. Peddle your dissonance to someone else, democrat.
1. We are all conservatives.
2. Tennessee is more conservative than Iowa.
3. Conservative Iowans are not responsible for Harkin.
4. The jury decision has almost nothing to do with the fact that Iowans vote for Harkin every 6 years, and that was just a dig.
Now get back to work for FR!
You might have not voted for him in the 2000 election but your state did give him to us as a senator just like the idiots in my state have given us Harkin.
Believe me, I’m doing my best (as are all Iowa conservatives) to make Harkin a private citizen.
The thing is, I would bet that once Harkin is out of office he won’t be like Gore has been where you just can’t get the prick to go away.
Funny that someone would call me a “democrat” just because I pointed out that his state isn’t innocent in electing liberal pricks either. Guess some people have such thin skin.
Usually those thin skinned types vote D.
Around here, they don’t call it ‘gorebull warming’ for nothing. He is a royal prick con artist of the lowest kind.
