In the Middle East, as long as Islam is allowed to exist, you can ONLY have one of three governmental alternatives:
Anarchy, Fantical Theocracies, or Military Dictatorships.

Take your pick.

The best alternative is the last as long as the dictator is beneficial to us.

If you expect anything else, you’re a damned fool, but then you have great company - this President and his three predecessors.

This president is different that the predecessors in that he ACTIVELY seeks Islamic theocratic rule of the Middle East. His foreign policies have been decidedly pro-Islamist and helped wage revolution there to usher in fanatical theocracies. He held no pipedreams about Western styled democracies springing up there.
