Pastor Max Lucado Launches 40-Day Prayer Campaign Ahead of Election

With less than two months to the presidential election, many issues are weighing on the minds of voters. Pastor Max Lucado says that there’s just one thing Americans can do about it – pray!

He’s launching an organized 40-day campaign of prayer prior to Election Day. Beginning September 28, Lucado is asking people to pray every day for the country – that we unite, that our nation is strengthened, and that we appoint our next president.

Lucado said, “It seems to me that election season is just a Petri dish for anger and cynicism. We tend to get at each other’s throats and if there weren’t so much at stake, we could just kind of view all of this as a game, but there is so much at stake and so I’m just wanting to encourage the country to do what we’ve always done really well and that is go to God.”

Not all believers are able to give money or make phone calls or walk their neighborhoods....though many COULD but refuse.

One thing we all can do is PRAY! God hears us.
