Ping!
What say you Cardinal? No need for a pill unless there is pillage.

This needs to go around again and again for the next two months.
Turning them into little Sandra Flukes is so much easier than teaching them to be decent, moral young ladies. That is so passe.
Well, Cardinal Tim, tell your flock to stop voting for Democrats, and you’ll see less of this indignity.
>unless the parents opt out of the program after receiving a school letter informing them of the new policy.
If I’m reading this correctly, the parents can refuse their female child receiving this pill.
That seems backwards. Perhaps it should be given only if their parent(s) opt in?
Bob Dolan is right!
Bring back the fire & brimstone.
Um.. hello?
We’re talking about a school district that uses a sex positive sex ed starting at 11. There is NO opt out.
They want these kids having sex and not buying soda
They would never dare in a million years to pass out such powerful and body damaging drugs to young males.
This is the real sexism.
A simple question is relevant here: should the 14 , 15, 16, or 17 yr old become pregnant and NOT take the “morning after pill” or other “emergency contraception,” will the school take “other measures to end the pregnancy?”
Someone should tell him that his majestic cathedral sits in the middle of a nihilistic, pagan city that ain't going to get any better.
Even the raghead terrorists from the middle east have figured out that they have nothing on the domestic apparatchiks from those places in terms of extortion of cash via the IRS and taking away our GOD given freedom.
Really? Big Surprise......
Hey Cardinal, tell your flock to stop sending their children to the ungodly for education.
But will he vote Democrat, or will he say to fellow Catholics, maybe it`s time we stop spitting on Jesus??? Just sayin
Obamacare cares for our youts!
So....let’s get this straight...
You CAN’T let a kid in NYC have a Big Gulp soda from 7-Eleven because the chemicals in sodas this big are bad for him/her/it...
BUT...
You CAN let a kid in NYC have a pill that has chemicals in it that actually KILLS a baby in the womb, and that’s OK.
Ok... Got it.
Liberals are truly demented and mentally ill.
If I recall in past cases, schools were prohibited from even dispensing aspirin without parental approval or a prescription.
If the schools handed out an aspirin to be placed between the girl’s knees, they wouldn’t need a morning after pill.
SIECUS (planned parenthood’s sex positive sex education arm) is decidedly anti-abstinence because they are decidedly PRO-sexually active teens (and under).
It is an evil agenda that circumvents age of consent laws and laws against corrupting minors.
How in the world can these school nurses be legally allowed to prescribe birth control medications? Doesn’t that need to be done by an MD, and don’t these girls need to have a physical exam before they are put on any sort of birth control? I understand that Plan B is an abortifacient drug that is not “preventative” in any way, but what is the injection they are discussing? As far as I know the injection form of birth control (Depo-Provera) requires a prescription.
Even though I am a Catholic and I agree with Cardinal Dolan that they should be promoting abstinence the broader issue that has no connection with my religious beliefs are the health issues these young women could have in regards to being prescribed medications that may harm them in the future, or may provide a false sense of security (not all bc pills work the same for all people). I don’t understand how fear of teen pregnancy can lead people to advocating these protocols which do more to endanger the lives and future fertility of these children than anything else. I don’t understand how parents can agree to give control of their children’s education, nutrition, and health decisions over to government schools either, so I guess that’s why none of this makes any sense to me...
I’m still trying to figure out how liberals parse “keep your laws off my body” with support of “Obamacare” in the broad sense - much less these individual issue concerns. It’s all insanity to me.
