Alabama Adopts First Official State Ban on UN Agenda 21

Alabama became the first state to adopt a tough law protecting private property and due process by prohibiting any government involvement with or participation in a controversial United Nations scheme known as Agenda 21. Activists from across the political spectrum celebrated the measure’s approval as a significant victory against the UN “sustainability” plot, expressing hope that similar sovereignty-preserving measures would be adopted in other states as the nationwide battle heats up.

The Alabama Senate Bill (SB) 477 legislation, known unofficially among some supporters as the “Due Process for Property Rights” Act, was approved unanimously by both the state House and Senate. After hesitating for a few days, late last month Republican Governor Robert Bentley finally signed into law the wildly popular measure — but only after heavy pressure from activists forced his hand.

Virtually no mention of the law was made in the establishment press. But analysts said the measure was likely the strongest protection against the UN scheme passed anywhere in America so far. The law, aimed at protecting private property rights, specifically prevents all state agencies and local governments in Alabama from participating in the global scheme in any way.

Either there will be a resurgence of the Constitution as "the law of the land" or Jesus is coming soon (could be both but without the former, the latter will hasten).

Does anyone know which states besides Alabama have banned Agenda 21 and its diabolical implementation scheme including "Race To the Top" (RTT) which corrals youth from the beginning of kindergarten?

Congratulations Alabama, a chink in the wall of big Government and the takeover of our Constitution.

Are you listening Governor Perry? Time to step up to the plate.

“This bill, that would bar the state from taking over private property without due process, is intended to shelter Alabamians from the United Nations Agenda 21, a sustainable development initiative that some conservatives see as a precursor for the creation of a world government,” explained Alabama GOP Executive Director T.J. Maloney when announcing that it had been signed into law.

The fact that Section 23 of the Alabama Constitution and 5th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution also bar that was meaningless I guess.

While the current regime would favor UN treaties being the law of the land in the US, I still fail to understand how a treaty with a foreign power can negate the US Constitution. It is as though national sovereignty can be thrown out the window solely by a Presidential signature and Senate ratification.

If you want to be on or off the Agenda 21 ping list, please notify me by Freepmail. It is a relatively low volume list in which we have been exploring the UN Agenda21 and related topics. We have collected our studies with threads, links, and discussions on the Agenda 21 thread which can be found here:

NEW ACTION THREAD:

Post 128 of the Action Thread is a summary of the history of Agenda 21, “what they are doing”, “what to do about it” and a good bibliography for further reading.

“How many pings per week usually?”

For past few months I have exercised the ping list once or twice a month. It is an important topic, and it would be ideal to do it more often, but with other projects I’m involved in, this is what I’ve been able to manage. I don’t try to ping the list to each article, but periodically I will post a partial summary onto the thread which is pinged.

The purpose of the thread is to mainly gather together the current information/concerns and after action reports.

once or twice a month...periodically I will post a partial summary onto the thread which is pinged.

Perfect. Some of these ping lists turn into voluminous spam that I never read. Guess I'm on your ping list, so thanks.

After a few days of research on the subject I have a lot of initial thoughts and comments. I believe we're rapidly nearing the last days, not according to some Mayan calendar but according to the Bible. Agenda 21 contains the seeds if not the actual wording of "seducing spirits and doctrines of devils" spoken of in 1 Timothy 4:1: forbidding to marry ("unsustainable" overpopulation) and commanding to abstain from meats ("unsustainable" - animals have more rights than humans). Christians should gear up with faith and anticipation because this is a sign of the Lord's soon return.

Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. 1 Timothy 4:1-3

Thanks again TEXOKIE.

BTW, which state besides Alabama look like they will stand up as "homes of the brave and land of the free" against this Marxist totalitarian coup d'état?

PapaNew, you are now on the Agenda 21 list. Thank you so very much for your interest in this topic.

I appreciate as well your biblical quotes outlining the insight you have had with respect to Agenda 21 and end times.

I've recently had the insight that the Mayan calendar and other doomsday prognostications are describing the time table of Lucifer and/or Satan, and that the Lord has His own timetable and Divine Plan if we will repent and allow Him to draw close to us.

We are admonished by Joshua to come apart and be a separate people. I think that God does not want us to be in the way when His judgment descends on the evil doers, but wisely as any good parent will, when there are bullets flying, has counseled His children to find safety. So I believe that we must find that safety - outwardly by being prepared for emergencies, but also and most importantly by cleaving to Him. That allows us to be in a position to be moved (safely) by the Lord to stand up to the ones such as proponents of Agenda 21 and all other evil matrices being foisted on us.

FWIW

That’s a very good question. I know that there is a lot of push-back in Oklahoma, but don’t believe it has reached legislative action yet. Texas, the same way.

Uh oh...just found this story. I knew our governor had compromised, but had not realized how terribly:
http://oktruthcouncil.com/tag/agenda-21/

Found this article from a Tea Party organization in Texas with a valuable strategy for discovering who are the local movers and shakers seeking to implement A21 in a city or area:
http://www.teaparty911.com/issues/agenda_21_in_texas.htm

Here is a link to a Virginia tea party with a letter from Tom DeWeese of American Policy Center who is a big Agenda 21 activist.

You ask a really good question, and I would like to know the answer to that as well!
I wish you well in your life-after-law-school!
