DENVER – The campaign plane carrying Ann Romney, the wife of GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney, made an emergency landing in Denver around 2:25 Friday afternoon, the campaign reported via Twitter.
Andrea Saul, the campaign’s press secretary, tweeted: “.@AnnDRomney plane makes emergency landing in CO. All okay. Thank goodness.”
Another tweet from the campaign’s Ryan Williams described the plane as “filled with smoke.”

I would not suspect foul play, only because a tragedy like that would result in a large sympathy vote for Romney. I think I read such a scenario in a Vince Flynn book recently.

It is interesting how chaotic and pathetic some of our military brass, SS, FBI and CIA have looked under Obama—with so many flub-ups it is hard to think it happenstance.
Are they all THAT pathetic and inept or are they being made to look a fool? It is one or the other.

I’m hopeful that the hate-mongers live miserable lives and wind up regretting their stupidity.

The high pressure valve in one of the air pacs stuck, no big deal. A little smoke always freaks folks out in an airplane. But as they were likely over the rockies, dumping the pressurization and using ram air for ventilation was likely not an option.
